Hi! Here's what made me sell the Kemper!!
It's called NAM, it's a free open source plugin you can download and install on your Mac/Pc to read "models", which are neural networks models of real amp made with last gen rocket science deep learning, it's been created by Steve Atkinson, a big name in scientific AI research world, and a true tone passionate!
Why I like it? Because it's the best of all capture technologies available today, it passes the "null" test and the blind tests better than kemper, Quad Cortex capture tech, and Tonex.
So the new ranking is :
1- NAM (Neural Amp Modeler)
2- Tonex
3- Quad Cortex
4- Kemper
NAM and Tonex are a lot more accurate to reproduce real amps compared to Quad Cortex because it's running the training on NVidia Cuda cores on computers and have much much more horse power than the small ARM dsp chip on the Quad Cortex.
