I have a 2001 996 Turbo...June 01 build...and it is a freakin' beast when you push it. It's not my daily...but it could be. I love driving it. The passion is real! Thanks for the video! Subbed.
I rode in this exact car in college, it was in Virginia. Hearing the startup, the controllable slides - I was hooked. 6 years later and I just purchased my e92 m3 comp, jet black on black. Great review mate!!

i was giving a ride once to a young couple, at a dirt country road, in russia. i was doing about 140km/h. and they were farting badly. then was a quick ride on small asphalt road, which i know perfectly well, every inch of it, 180km/h max. there. and i finely dropped them by the cemetery!
Is it easier to drift than a cayman? I was on track with my 987 S and only way i could get it sideways was trailbraking. It was a big wide circuit but the power and grip just didnt let me drift easily. It would be possinle with proper weight shifting, but im not that good.
Similar with this. Just on power this car wouldn't go sideways in the dry. Too balanced and too much grip. You need to use weight transfer to your advantage, and then it will happily keep the drift.
