@@snarkyalyxyou are right, sir about the welding process it envolved fusion between two metals in the liquid form using high temperatures in this case oxyacetilene torch and a core flux filler electrode... Beautiful work!
Did leadwork including welding at college and on site in the early 80s. Also covered copper and something called nuralite which was an asphalt like material that i think also contained asbestos so you don't see it anymore. Believe me when i say this guy makes it look super easy. Its actually very hard to learn to do. Leadwork was always a plumbers job in the UK but over the years roofers or lead specialists have taken it on. I never really took to it myself , but do enjoy watching this guy.
