Black people need to stop preaching toxic parenting, you can be your child’s friend;the key is order, teaching your child that yeah I’m your friend but as an elder their is a structural and respectful way you approach me; black parents for some reason have a niche of wanting their kids to fear them, like that soo weird and builds generational trauma. There is always a healthy way of discipline and learning respectful boundaries.

Love her and have always loved her. I remember seeing her at Balducci's on 8th Street and 6th Ave while we both were shopping and she was minding her business while I was muted by her presence. Summer 1986. She lived on top of that same building.
Wow!👏🏽 Proudly South African🇿🇦 She reminds me so much of Sibongile Khumalo (RIP). She'll be a soloist eventually but I see a great future for all of them.
Hannah Waddingham seems so much fun but also genuinely lovely. When she was a guest judge on Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK, you could tell by the way she spoke to each contestant that she was invested in them and really cared. There was one queen who was struggling mental health wise, and the pressure of the show was clearly getting to her. When it was Hannah’s time to give her feedback, Hannah’s whole tone and demeanour changed. She immediately went into nurturing mother mode. She showed so much empathy and compassion.
