Ciao Marco and thx for this great video. Could it be possible to get the contact of that studio ( directly ) the first floor looks fantastic ! Safe travels
Oh boy. I just got on my recommendation. No time to watch. Maybe later. But here is my comment. All those monks entered monkhood before puberty because nobody would agree to lifelong celibacy post puberty . So these monasteries are rife with sexual dysfunctions just like an irish church. In fact they are all peadophiles. I would not dare to write this if i was in sri lanka. But now i am in my own country Nepal but i grew up as a young buddhist monk in sri lanka from 1987 to 1997 AD . Now I hear there are calls to ban ordinating underage boys. If so monkhood will be finished because nobody in right mind would agree to enter this crazy life if they are not forced in childhood and trapped to this lifestyle .

Sri gnanarama (kahagolla, near to ella) maps.app.goo.gl/Jakh6dQ8X5bBz8cSA I think this may be your life changing guide for the tru path of nibbana.. I think you will be lucky 🙏🙏 Arahant is a level that a humen should go to stop birth then we can avoid deth! And suffering ! That level is nibbana , nirvana, nivana, here some names , but same meaning , literally srilankan beings call it as nirvana, it's not a matter.. Buddha's teaching is for that path, Meditation can be categories by two 1. Samatha 2. Vipassana That second thing is the budhdha 's main teaching for nibbana. Anapanasathi is very nessasary But not enough , after that you should do vipassana meditation . I think you can learn it at those places, (Totally free, without money) Theruwan saranai 🙏🙏🙏
Mr Marco Pino I love watching all your videos about yoga and meditation it's really helping me a lot in deciding where to go and learn. Has anyone told you that you look like a Bollywood Star named Akshay Kumar you may be his long lost brother haha ☯️🙏
Really great video - I have been asking myself exactly the same question for the past couple of years ! So I very much appreciate your opinion - It has helped me a lot.
This is 'Kudumbigala'. So beautifully explained by you, thank you so much. You are a very fortunate person to visit and stay there for five days among our most respected theros. You are a very friendly person too. Thanks for doing this video.🙏
The rock above the arahant - kuti (hut of a master) is called sona pabbata. Pabbata means mountain, hill etc. (for example "Nanga Parbat") Pabbata is Pali and Parbat Sanskrit. Just as Info but you study/studied also Sanskrit.
Helo Marco, I had been a Theravada Buddhist Monk for 9 Rains and had to disrobe but of taking care for my parents. Now I want to ordain again in Sri Lanka. Do you know to which Nikaya (Sect) the monastery belongs. Probably Galduwa???
This not real monk, they are business man, they collect money from every people.this is scam and mafia. Lord Buddha said left everything, but monk collect money, luxury temple, some temple have a air conditioning, securit wife also, don't give anything to budist temple, help to poor people from that ,you can collect lots of good karma
I have never tried NON-Gratitude Journal earlier, but I am planning to try it as it makes sense. I have one question/doubt, Can someone write both Journals (Gratitude & NON-Gratitude) each day? Or should stick to one at time? Any thoughts on this? I know writing journal is time consuming process but asking it out of curiosity.
Yes you can. A gratitude list is pretty simple but non-gratitude is more self work. It takes time. But you only need to do it if you have something to work on. Most of the times there won’t be any need. It’s also about self awareness. You ask yourself, “is there anything I’m not grateful for today?” And if don’t find anything then that’s great. If you find something then you can choose to explore it or ignore it. Just like I did in the video ;)
Very nice video. I done something similar where I spent 5 days at a Trappist monastery. But watching your video, I have to say a very nice work. Thank you for sharing.
I was there in february, around 11 in the morning. I felt in love with the lake. So humble and beautiful. Very secure. And high vibrations. I can't really explain why I need to go back. That's just a place in which I feel fullfiled.
Loved this! My experience is the opposite - 35yrs of surfing and relatively new to yoga. I really appreciate the parallels you found, and I would agree they kind of blend into, and supplement each other.
