Keep it buck 50 i liked resident evil movies . As separate own cannon and uh ykw they know what they were soing for the cast they hired for alice Ok btw final chapter doesnt exist that movie just didnt happen and we never got our movie
I be honest after session one finished i forget even the show... I loved the first season. But well i kinda think its good as dead... If you cant make people want more and you let it go the creative minds better being dead than make it longer... S1 is banger but the rest is forgetable... Similar to Ash vs Evil dead... I kinda regret that too.
The only one i like is the original and the second one to an extent. The rest are awful imo. The first one is a nice alternate reality of Resident Evil of how the virus spread to raccoon city.
I love the first 2 movies, idk why, just do. But the entire rest of the movies would take a fucking Einstein level genius to attempt to explain to me what the fuck was going on. The scripts were basically "Alice is there, fan favorite characters appear, some story happens but it wont appear in the next movie, the end"
I (sadly) have watched all of the R.E. movies, but only own copies of the first two... Good story for a video game series, but after the second film, I was tormented with accute Acid Reflux!
Shadow Moon was always of mixed race, my friend. In the book, his race is constantly described amiguosly for this very reason. Or, perhaps, that is how I pictured him. Still, loved your analysis and the video itself. Got yourself a new suscriber.
There are books about the movies that describe what happens in between and I did read them in high-school. Jill has become a drifter after the group breaks apart because Alice lost control and killed the Ashford girl. Jill comes across a town and there's like a post apocalyptic Dictator controlling the town and she helps some guy liberate the town. I didn't read any books past the 3rd movie, by that time my mind had developed to the point I finally realized it was all cash grab trash 😂
Alice's attitude changes because she started to care for her last group before inevitably losing them therfore making her reluctant to get close to a new group of survivors. She also probably considers herself to dangerous to be around other people because she doesn't fully understand what umbrella did to her. It makes sense that she wants to remain distant. I will say they could have done a better job at relaying that to the audience but it's almost self evident if you've seen the first movie.
The Chinese version of Covenant removed the aliens from the movie, it would have helped . The original script for Prometheus entitled engineers was really interesting and simplified the life cycle without adding questions that are never going to be answered. Romulus needed to return to the roots and tick the boxes , the next movie will be better as Fede has more control over the next movie and the success of Romulus gives him more cache for future ideas. The comic books have some interesting ideas to source from , which Fede knows. Fire and stone even addd predator to Prometheus in an interesting way. The series will focus on the true enemy if done correctly .
First one was good - a little out there, and disregarding the premise of the games, but yeah you can buy into it for a popcorn movie night. Every single thing after that. Everything. Is total garbage.
When I think of Haiti, the first thing I think of is Haiti being the first caribbean island to win their freedom. And how sad it makes me feel how it turned out for them.
If one alice is good for this movie then thousands would be better 🤣😂🤷🏼🧒🏻🧒🏻🧒🏻🧒🏻 The worst one is when Alice gets her powers taken away and she crashes into a mountain side and survives?
The one thing that pisses me off about The Final Chapter is that so many characters just die off screen. Having Angela Ashford die off screen was one thing as the world ended and she probably just died.
The two back pedals in the last movie could’ve been remedies by just making the reveal that Wesker lied and there’s more survivors by having the red queen save them in the end. And have her ask them to reach the hive that would’ve worked as the big reveal they usually do at the ends of the movies. That would’ve gotten me hyped for the next final chapter. But the way it works the next movie starts with a slump which technically works as Wesker was just a liar and therefore an unreliable narrator and Alice didn’t know any better.
My headcannon is that we do simply see different clones throughout the series and any Alice could be “the” Alice as it seems her soul and her essence is transferred every time almost perfectly. Even her clones had powers. It’s possible that the Alice in the first movie had powers too she just forgot she did because of the amnesia or the nerve gas. I have a feeling every time we see an Alice close up shot of an eye it’s usually a new clone waking up. We see the clone Alice in fake raccoon city wake up this way and it’s shown Alice can see what her clones see. And it’s weird that almost every time she wakes up she has the same pattern of bruises. Maybe the bruises come from the equipment holding the clones like in the facility in Resident Evil: Retribution
The scene where Peyton comes back as a zombie is so good. I actually had a huge crush on the guy who plays Peyton when I was little so seeing that character go was sad to me given that he cared about the people so much.

im going to say something controversial, the rise of rights afforded to child actors has taken a toll on abilities of said actors. the acting was complete garbage. Dont get me wrong, i'm not in favor of bringing back the same harsh methods from the past; kids must be allowed to be kids but producers should work within the new limitations. theres plenty of content in the comic books of teenage and young adult aang to be able to make a live action film; that way the pool of actors are gathered from young adults with more training and experience. relying on literal children to sell complex emotions on screen is just unrealistic nowadays.
