FROM OUR FOUNDER: I love reptiles of all kinds. Ever since I was a child, I've been infatuated with all cold-blooded creatures, especially snakes. When I got my first Reticulated Python, things started getting more serious. Retics simply captivated me. Their curiosity, personality and overall intelligence continually blow me away. Not to mention the colors and patterns that can be created from different genetic combinations. From my first Retic, I've been hooked - and there was only one cure for the addiction. More Retics!! That is why I dubbed the program “WildFire Retics”. It’s a passion that was ignited and has spread like WILDFIRE. The core mission of WildFire Retics youtube page is to provide everyone the opportunity to see and learn about these phenomenal animals from experts who understand them. Animals come first here, and always will. It is our hope that by spreading knowledge and awareness, we can shine a brighter light on these often misunderstood creatures.
I'm not into pied anything for some reason but RIP Muerta. I just have a burm and carpet until i get out of my rv and buy a house 😔. Sorry for your loss and this channel is awesome by the way 🤟
Awesome video. I was wondering how you keep your humidity so good in your enclosures. I noticed that your humidity looks perfect on the glass. Also I love how clean you guys are with your animals.
"if you own a snake, You're going to get bit, especially a retic"..... - As a snake owner yourself, You should know, that the whole 'reticulated pythons are nasty', is just circulated nonsense.... why the emphasis on "especially a reticulated python"?!?! The whole common misconception, that burms are generally friendlier than a retic.. is plain nonsense too.... I own a variety of snakes... Royal Pythons, Carpet Pythons, Boa constrictor, Corn Snakes, Western Hognose, King Snakes and a Albino Reticulated python too... Wona know sumit funny?!?! Ive been bitten by ALL of my snakes, at some point in time, EXCEPT my Retic!!! Even my corn snake has had pot shots at my hands.... I get bitten essentially on a weekly basis by my female Ball python that i rescued, and she now hates males..... Ive been chomped on my arm and face, by my female Boa Constrictor..... (some time ago, she has calmed down with age now and is super gentle), . But yet.. My reticulated python has never so much as even hissed at me! Not once! He has been nothing but absolutely perfect, Very gentle, and not worried about any human surrounding him..... He is a absolute delight to handle and sit on sofa watching tv, while he takes up the whole damn sofa 😂 Heck.. My 3 children handle it.... Even my 4 year old daughter sits on the living room floor with it... It lays there and lets my daughter roll on the floor and cuddle it... It lets her put her barbie dolls on his back 😂 and even doesnt give a shit about my cat roaming around the home.... My cat can literally walk right past it.... My retic does absolutely nothing!! I hate the whole misconception that Retics are "nasty", "grumpy", "defensive", "dangerous".... and that they are GOING TO bite...... Its simply not true.....
tysm for this comment, tbh ive been looking more into retics and information on them hoping i can get one when im ready and ive noticed a pattern of negativity around them, im grateful for comments like this, i think as long as youve raised the snake yourself or rlly socialized the snake you got a nice chance of having a really nice and comfortable snake but yeah its hard not to let ppl who talk so bad about retics get into ur head, especially since im easily influenced rn as somebody whos learning lol
Males are difficult but it also depends on the owner. If I were to set my female in an enclosure with newspaper down she will instantly go into food mode and take shots at you
This is awesome. I am very happy I found you. I used to live with twenty Reticulated Pythons. I was one of the few people in the United States to breed Genetic Stripes in 2006/2007. I support you fully.
😂😂😂 the sheer number of comments that are either totally off topic or 100% wrong is hilarious. I guess all of the people on RU-vid think you're talking to them when you're asking who ever "homeboy expert man" is
I am sorry for the loss of your snake. She probably got the pseudomonas because her immune system was under attack. Too bad you didn't know about the rabbits, you could have fed her something else.
Sunfire prob my favorite morph makes every other thing u pair it woth pop. Picked up a Suntiger DH Puple GS myself looking fwd to pairing her with my White phase male when she is ready
