Just want to say I’ve been through many videos and yours is the only one that hit the nail on the head appropriate model make. And exactly where the problem was and how to get to it. Thank you for posting this. Everything came out perfect.
I just picked up identicsl motor and mine is missing what looks like air box on end of carberator. Is that really necessary or essential for it to run ok? Sat for years and started up but rough.
The new 12' hose I bought from Lowe's does not allow enough gas flow to keep the hearer lit. I bought and returned 2 of them. Cheap Chinese Crap. Tried and old hose i had and the heater works fine.
so ... let me ask you, once you've applied soap (with the soap nozzle to the designated area) and you want to start washing off the soap ... you have to switch the nozzle back again ?
At first it didn’t work for me, had to unplug the wires at the motor to reset with the new resistor and then it fired up. The plug will be on the bottom right of the motor. So if yours doesn’t work at first then maybe you could try that. Hope all works, God Bless.
I replaced the fan motor & Resistor but 4 months later No AC. I replaced the motor again & 3 months later Not working. I tested the last fan I saved & Fan Works/Bench tested. Maybe I shouldn’t have replaced the old resistor????
And where can find the diagram for properly wiring the new Cdi i just got. Someone cut all the cable for the old cdi and spark plug wires. I have i think 8 in total. I have the new cdi and i’m trying to find out what’s the correct spark plug wires i need … then i need to know a proper way to connect those cables together. Your help is greatly appreciated please
No easy fix for me. Under warranty so Big Max supplied parts. Replaced two pressure switches, gas valve, motherboard, voltage regulator to gas valve, and finally as a last resort ask for new gaskets for exhaust manifold. When removing exhaust manifold for gasket change out found a mud wasp nest inside of exhaust manifold. Couldn't see it until manifold was turned upside down. Removed nest and has run fine ever since.
HVAC guy chiming in here...This is what happens when you purchase a cheap POS sold to the general public by the standard big box stores to be installed by customer. If you're serious and want a real garage heater, you get a Reznor. This clone/imitation junk is just that. Don't rely on this to keep your garage reliably warm if you have serious reasons for needing heat in there that will cost you more money.
