Hey! Thanks for the feedback, and sorry to hear that. Maybe try tapping your 'volume up' button a couple of times. I didn't want to be one of these YT jerks who blasts your ears with high-decibel narration. Figured it's less rude to ask you wind the volume up a notch than blast your tender drums as a greeting. :D
Sorry, not much experience with the Logitech hardware, and none of their VR accessories at all (I wasn't even aware they did that range) as they don't have many 'media units' for New Zealand. The few units the local crew get mostly go to the big retailers as perks, so "us little guys" don't get much of a look-in.
Sorry Shelley... the notification about your question has only just shown up! Spam-filters seem to be on high-alert atm. This was... amazingly unexpected. I was fully expecting to freak out, but it was so smooth and relaxing, I didn't even really register the height. When I finally did, it was very cool, because the reassurance of being attached to a parachute totally took away all those "what if..." worries. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend this exciting activity!
Not at all... I don't 'sell' access to the videos. They are not a product, they are a perk for the magazine patrons as a token of thanks for their ongoing support.
@@sjh0010 Already have. The magazine Patrons have had free access to it for over a year... along with some newer videos posted from subsequent trips... and will get videos from the upcoming trip in November. The magazine has just won the APAC Insider Business Awards too... thanks in part to the Patrons, so naturally, they get perks that the public don't. If you would like to join them, feel free to become a Patron too - djin.nz/Sw-Patreon
@@saywhatnz ok but your video is misleading. It's says luge, the thumbnail says luge but the video is just you and no luge. Post the luge video here so we can see it.
I asked the guide that, and was told that it gives you a better perspective of the sheer scale of the tree you just launched from, and thus a better idea of the sheer timescale of the forest around you. Personally, I would have liked to have done this one going forward, but agree that the view was pretty impressive! Plus, because of the way the straps are positioned, most people tend to spin a bit as they go... I just figured out how to stay relatively stable in "flight" on this one and didn't spin as much as some others.
Definitely was VERY cool... so much so I had to really fight the urge to try and sneak onto the tour that was about to go into the forest just as we came out. :D Very naughty, agreed, but SO VERY TEMPTING none the less. Next trip, going to try for the "Ultimate" tour! Higher, longer, faster...
