These days i only use Windows exclusively for gaming and Linux for everything else. I have tried gaming on Linux and it is seriously impressive just how far it has come but it's not perfect and gaming on Windows is still much more convenient than it is on Linux.

first MS needs to remember that we don't need all these "features" they keep loading the system with. the purpose of the OS is to interface the hardware in a way that lets you run the software the USER wants to run. Second they don't need to copy anything that other companies might be doing, doesn't matter what Apple is doing, people get windows because the software they want to run is most likely made for windows. they already got us but they seem to think that like babies they need to keep dangling the shiny key chain in front of us to keep us giggling and and reaching for it. So much of what they do is doing more to piss people off and make them look into alternatives. If Linux could play all my games without issues i'd switch in a heartbeat. too many solutions looking for the problem and features that no one asked for. the more they try to force their products down our throats the more you have to realize its for their benefit not the users. Edge is being shoved at us because they make money off it. They have invested billions in to AI in both software and hardware and have to get people using it in order to get a return on their investment. and like drug dealers they are looking to give people a free taste hoping to start charging them a monthly fee. None of this is for the USERs.

I’m currently using Kubuntu because of its simple yet modern interface. I used to have windows 10 and absolutely loved it, but I upgraded to 11 because eventually I gotta learn what’s new on it. I immediately hated the center dock, and it had issues with a bunch of drivers that led to it not shutting down until I unplug every USB device. Windows 11 took 3x longer to startup than the stock windows 10 my laptop had and used more ram.

Thank you for this! I haven't upgraded to Windows 11 because of many of the features from 10 that don't exist on 11 anymore, but now I see that I can add them all back with explorer patcher! I'll probably upgrade to 11 now and finally be able to use Arc Browser.

How can i add anime: ONA, OVA and SPECIALS? Are they to be in the same folder or a different one? Category in library like a series or movie database for easy identification? Sorry love how you have your anime library, and I am trying to make one.

Who would ever want something useless like a windows recovery partition? It's not like Windows has a history of pushing updates that bluescreen your computer until you reinstall the OS or restore an earlier version. Oh, wait, they did that with a faulty audio driver for HP laptops. From what I've seen, I already mistrust EaseUS. At the very least adjust the video title to reflect that you're not cloning a drive at all.

As a daily Linux user: I miss days when Windows dont have any bloatware and spyware inside source code. I make music also for years and I testing FL and plugins on linux. FL working wine, Sylenth1 also, Fabfilter bundle, OTT, Camel Crusher also working fine. But... Ozone isnt working and i cant fix it. Its sad that we all stuck into big companies that spy us and give us garbage software for big money... True freedom is fake.

I spend quite some time trimming down Windows 11 until it is barebone, functional and limited distractions. It will never be as nice as Windows Vista or Windows 7, but at least I can use it without being constantly annoyed. And that is good enough for me. One thing positive I have to say that the security architecture of Windows has improved dramatically in the past few years. Features like Virtualization Based Security, Secure Boot, TPM, etc. etc. makes it much safer to use Windows. Especially when you are able to run Windows on more modern CPUs like Alder Lake and Zen 3.

Not a power user, but just an above average pc user. But the thing keeping me away from Apple was the option to customize and tweak. Now it looks like i will seriously start to reconsider my decision to buy a Windows laptop and fork out a fortune for a MBP, since you will be hogtied any which way.

I prefer HD clone. It has a simple interface. But does a good job to. Also there is a free version if you want clones basic full disk it's just a little slow. I'd recommend at least basic package or better advance package

If (like me) you installed the trial version to try the key and (obviously) it didn't work, now you're stuck with a program you can't uninstall because it doesn't show up in the add/remove programs app. To get rid of it you will have to do so manually, don't forget it's registry keys.... thanks for this pain the asshole. My new rule is to not support a company that doesn't offer me an uninstall option. Lesson learned.

how the hell can i uninstall the darn program ? its a virus if we cannot uninstall. the support say use the uninstall button good luck finding it i had to do a system restore.
