The beats are not measured by seconds. It all depends on the speed of the pulse given at the start. You will have to count the beats using your 4 fingers and moving them to the exact speed that you heard at the start (the 4 beat count-in). This way you will ensure that the notes of the rhythmic pattern fall on the correct beat. As soon as you feel a small change, select the finger number that you felt the change on, and that will be your answer. I am aware that not all rhythm questions will have the 4 beats played at the start. In this case, you will have to move to the rhythm to figure out the pulse of the music. Just like you do when you listen to a song you enjoy. You naturally move or clap or click you fingers to the beat of the music, Hopw this helps. Good luck and happy practising! 😃🥁🎶⏳
Sure thing! We will make the pitch questions slower in our next video. Feel free to slow this video down to hear the pitch slower. All the best with your preparation 🎵🎼🎶😀
Thanks for the feedback and sure thing! Next time we will slow down the pitch section. For now, feel free to slow down the video on RU-vid so you can hear the notes slower. Good luck and happy practising 😃
Hello, thank you for your questions. The pass mark changes every year, but for the last 10 years it's been between 42-46 out of 60. The actual exam will be around the same difficulty but possibly slightly easier. Definitely not more difficult than these tests. Good luck! 🙏 💪☺
Thanks so much for the feedback and sorry to hear the background music was too loud. We will see if we can reduce the volume, but good to know what to be careful about in our next tutorials. Glad you find it useful and all the best with the preparation! ☺️🙏🏼💪🏽
You are very welcome and we are so pleased to hear it's helping your son to practice and prepare for his exam. All the best and let us know how it goes. 🤞🏼🙌🏼☺️
Thank you for getting in touch and sorry to hear you could not use the booking portal. We've checked it on several devices and it works fine. Try it again and see if it works.
