Seeing those three legends gathered on a couch, talking and joking with so much love and respect is something every boxing fan needs to see before leaving this world. I leave you my heart from Lima Peru.
This version is the best one - and it’s not on Spotify!! I wonder why. Something about this recording is just really great and feels more put together than the original.
Fantastic. Thank you. My father, who was a great "street fighter" in the 1940's & 1950's told me: "Son, I lost (many) "more" fights than I won". He was also blessed to have seen many heavyweight world championship fights as he worked in Miami from 1948-1956 and travelled extensively across this little planet. One thing I will never forget that my father told me when I "thought I could fight", and perhaps work hard enough to make the "show" in professional boxing, so to speak, was: "Son, boxing is a very tough way to make a living". "Just ask Joe Lewis". Suffices to say, I "hung up my imaginary gloves" that very day and began to appreciate the god given gifts that "real" pugilists were given. Along with their relentless work ethic. Thanks so much for this video coverage. Blessings to you all.
Every heavyweight champ is standing on the shoulders of these giants. Just as these 3 kings are standing on the shoulders of joe lois as he was standing on the shoulders of jack Johnson..... godbless the marquis of Queensbury...... ironically he probably did more than any other white man in advancing the stature of the black man ..
All three of these guys are class acts. It was sad to watch Ali's verbal brilliance Ravaged by Parkinson's. Still, he manages his show. glimpses of his former self.
I used the way Don talks his way out of the airport on 2 dum cops I said you can search my car but you ain't searching me cos the last cop touched my front bum it worked I had a half ounce of smack on me
No one would have known at the time that George Foreman would be the most eloquent, wealthy, and spiritually loved of the three. At the time Foreman was looked at as a beast and a brute.
I used to love cruse around Vice City at night just listening to Emotion with Fernando Martinez. Now I gotten the definitive edition I can finally enjoy this song once more in Vice City.
