Even after fat ugly woke chicks ship these two clowns, it still cannot hide the atrocious script and excrement-level acting. It's like a bad school play.
i'm positive 100% that they're banging in the forest after freeing the village from orcs (season 1), that's why galadriel always in dilemma regarding her feelings (for halbrand not sauron) and made her lost the duel in the final episode of season 2
For readers of the Simarillion, is this canon? This… romance, between Galadriel and Sauron? As a reader and watcher of LOTR, this is sincerely the last thing I expected, Galadriel having had a tense sort of fling with Sauron…
I dont know i feel like maybe if he would've been with her- sge could've changed him- but then again his name is Sauron the deceiver- i knows what your thinking, what you want, how to manipulate. But it did seem like he did have real feelings fir her even while trying to get his way and fullfill his purpose. Didnf it and like she was fighting her feelings for him and her husband shes trying to find. Life is complicated lol. But its fun to take time out our lives to dive into some our favorite books n shows lol
this is by far the best one i've seen yet. your editing is PERFECTION. i am obsessed. new fan for LIFE. omg if you ever did one for the last kingdom!!!
I wish Sauron & Galadriel were a couple in the series with a happy ending. Why not tweak the script here & there to make this even more intense, interesting & true?
Am I the only one that's DOESN'T think Galadriel & Sauron we're actually in love? Is it just me? The actors have both said it's not love, also. But, so baby people think it is - I'm starting to feel like a crazy person. 😂
I can't express the actual joy i feel reading a comment section that isn't filled with hate and complaints about this show.. I am an avid Tolkien fan.. and i love this show, this AMV truly highlights the complex relationship between these two.. you really find yourself rooting for them despite everything.. which is crazy when you actually think about it haha
If it's any consultation - I'm someone that has HAAAAATED this show the entire time (however, I've never thought that everything about it was bad, there have always been a few characters & storylines I thought they did okay with, I try to be objective, but overall, I absolutely hated it all along.) And I've been following the plot & the episodes through (very critical) reviews of it -- & once they got to episode 5 this season, I was like, hold on, the parts with Annatar & Celebrimbor look pretty good, like, not just tolerable, but GOOD. So, I watched 5, 6, 7, & 8 --- and they did a PHENOMENAL job with Annatar & Celebrimbor. Just fantastic, actually compelling, & objectively good. The acting from Vickers especially, but Edwards too - is just stunning, like a gut-punch in every scene. And so, I still think they've REALLY screwed up on a lot of aspects of this, a lot, but they did some pretty well (like, just for example, they did pretty well overall with the dwarves & their storyline & Durin & Disa are pretty good characters mostly. I wish they'd have just not done any of the stuff with the Harfoots & Gandalf, though, for MANY reasons. But, point is - even a few of us Tolkien-loving haters of this show - can still be objective, I really try to look at this objectively, & I desperately wanted this show to be as good or better than the Jackson films, I was rooting for it. And the scenes with Sauron in the second half of this season, & the ones of him & Celebrimbor were SO good, that now I'm officially watching & following the show JUST for Charlie Vickers' portrayal of Sauron. That dude is truly knocking it out of the park, & hiring him was the best decision they've made with ROP. So, some haters minds can be changed. Still don't like that so much if it doesn't make sense & it has a lot of problems, but I'm actually excited for season 3. I want to see what else they do with Sauron. They really nailed it with that aspect of this. And I can't speak for everyone, but I know I never judged or had a problem with the fans of the show - only the writers. I feel bad sometimes that the show has gotten so much heat, even though I think much of it is deserved -- because I know it must make you guys, the ROP fans, feel like crap, like all these people think you're stupid for liking the. So I just want you to know that we don't all think that. We're just sad & disappointed that this could have been an incredible show, but in many ways, has been poorly executed. We wanted to love it, too. I hope they keep killing it with Sauron so I can enjoy season 3 along with you guys. I hope they improve everything else, too, because I love those parts so much, I WANT to like the whole show. ❤
@@zzevonplant You, my friend, are a gem! I agree with everything you have said, the show has it's issues and has deviated from the source material in a lot of ways, but i am in the same boat with regards to Charlie Vickers, he killed it this season, really drew me in with his portrayal, so excited to see him as Sauron in his fair form in Númenór, it's gonna be so intense! The second half of season 2 was definitely where the show shined the most, hopefully they can carry that energy and reliance on the source material over to season 3. Thank you for being so endearing and kind! **Namárië**
@@ItsSophieDuh Do you think they'll have him still looking line Annatar in Numenor, or that they'll change him again? I really like the Annatar look, especially how they had his clothes gradually change & become darker & more imposing over time, & his eyes gradually change to look less kind, more sharp & cold, but also intriguing, which makes PERFECT sense for the character. And his acting has done that, too. Like, how demeanor, behavior, manipulation, mannerisms, everything, gradually became less warm & kind, more menacing, imposing, sinister, but at the same time, intoxicating & alluring, which works so, so well because that's how he does a lot of the evil he does, by intoxicating people in various ways, by luring them in, but they manage to do that while also making him look more evil & scary -- that's a TOUGH tightrope to walk & they succeeded, & Vickers succeed at it. And that's what really makes me sad though - is that they managed to do something THAT difficult & subtle & did it gracefully & masterfully - but then fumble the ball SO badly with some other things. Like, random example - how tf are they going to have Arondir *run through* with a broadsword, OBVIOUSLY mortally wounded, in front of God & the world (& Elrond & a whole army 😂) and then just have him Walz back in the next episode like nothing happened? Not even injured or limping? No healing? No explanation? Wtf is that?? And I can think of 1,000 things like that - & that kind of stuff just kills immersion for me. How am I supposed to buy this story, to believe it, when silly crap happens like that left & right? Know what I mean? 😂 And I can forgive a LOT of dentist deviation from the books if it works within the story & maintains the spirit of Tolkien's work, & maintains internal consistency & quality, but I think they fail at that in many ways, & they easily could have avoided those problems. But yeah, man, knocked it out if the park with Sauron & Celebrimbor. I even like some of Galadriel's character arc this season, though I hated how they wrote her in season 1, & the dwarves are decent, hobbits are awful imo, they wrote Elrond much better this season, I HATE the dark wizard plot (he BETTER not be Saruman, too.) What they did with Gandalf causes a lot of future plot issues, too, I think.
@@ItsSophieDuh And thank you, too, for talking with me! My husband is a big Tolkien fan, but doesn't want to talk about this show at all & wants to pretend it doesn't exist. 😂 Namarie to you as well!
They need to break canon for these two actors and characters… I really think they should! I get it LOTR die hards hate it, ok cool but the actors have such chemistry it would be criminal not to allow them to get together but by series end tear them apart
It has nothing to do with die hard fans. If you want to vaguely tell the story of how the rings of power were made, than you have to at least follow some major plot lines from the silmarilion. If they want you to watch some love story just bc they have good chemistry they could film ANYTHING literally anything without this amount of lore. Read fanfiction if you want to see them together
Well, the only thing accurate to the LOTR in this series are some names of characters and places, and that's all. They literally broke canon with everything, so it wouldn't surprise me if they gonna put two of them together.
@@arisa9765that’s why I’m not freaking out about the series. I think far too often and justifiably we’ve been conditioned to just hate on everything without giving things a chance. I’m at the point where I’m exhausted with it. I just enjoy actors acting and letting a story be just that a story. Look at Interview with the vampire everyone hated on the idea for the series and that series is ridiculously well done. So much so that the community on RU-vid that normally hate clicks about everything and at first hate clicked about the show have stopped because you know what the actors and giving top notch performances. The same with this show, I’m sorry Charlie Vickers & Morfydd Clark are killing it together on screen as Sauron & Galadriel and I think the writers of the show realize they have two actors that just play off each other really well. It happens all the time case in point. Buffy the vampire slayer and Spike originally the character spike was suppose to die midway through season 2 but because of chemistry and the actor who played spike they saw the potential of Buffy and spike and that couple in the fandom is very literally considered top ten in the fandom
That wouldn't work for the story, though. Even if you COMPLETELY ignore the books, the canon, all that - even in ROP, it would make NO SENSE to have that happen, unless it was very, very momentary. It would mess up the whole thing they've been doing with Galadriel's character & her arc. I think what they've done so far makes more sense than trying to actually get them together in some way. And both actors have said that Galadriel doesn't love, & never did love, Sauron. And Vickers has said that what Sauron feels toward Galadriel is not actually love. And I get what he means, because I get a very different impression watching this than that they're actually in love at any point. I totally get why you want to see that, though, & they ABSOLUTELY do have amazing chemistry - it's just a different kind of chemistry than love, it's more complex than that, too, I think. It's similar to the relationship an addict has with their drug, in a way anyway, and like a victim with their abuser, in A Stockholm Syndrome sort of way (both of those on Galadriel's part) - both of which are much more complicated than they may seem. And Sauron's feelings toward her are even more nuanced & complex than hers & more complex than love. The only way I can compare it is like the way Hannibal Lecture feels about Clarice, not exactly like that, but there are similarities, & the same way House cares about a patient (I can elaborate if this makes no sense to you, it probably doesn't because it's a strange comparison), & the way a cat looks at its prey. But yeah, I have to say though, as someone who has HAAAAATED this show since it started, I am now actually watching & following it because of what an absolutely phenomenal job they've done with Sauron & Vickers' acting. Also, Celebrimbor & all his scenes with Annatar have been SO good, especially the last one, that I can't truly say I hate the show anymore & I'm excited for season 3 now.
I Truly fell in love when i was 26 and She was 41. I didn't knew she was diagnosticated with NPD. Seeing this Edit of Sauron and Galadriel reminds how she acted Just like him. They put on a mask and becomes whoever you want them to be.
