Yours are amazing! I've planted a plumbago for my own for a few months now. Recently I noticed the leaves are drooping - but it still flowers though. Is it because I've been overwartering it?
I’ve never seen that fertilizer, do you know if it’s organic and safe for edible plants? Some fertilizers shouldn’t be used on plants you intend to eat or cook with.
My plumbagos are in medium size clay pots. When I got them they were all blooming. Now they are long and lanky and hardly blooming. What do you think is the solution?
Best coop ,any one tell me why white feathers grow in Young age in Rhode island , and after that white feathers fall down and grow Brown color feathers
Beautiful. I just bought (2) 1 QT for our front patio. I am planning on leaving them permanently potted in 5 gallon clay pots. What's the best way to prune these fells? I have noticed since potting them they have started taking off. Do they need aggressive pruning as I understand when planted in the ground they get pretty big.
Its a nice video and very interesting but that’s not quite the right hibiscus flower/plant to use for the tea and for the benefits the right one is called Rosella Hibiscus has like 3 other names too like Jamaica and so on it’s in the same family as the hibiscus flowers but not the same.
You can use any of the Hibiscus flowers. The color doesn't matter. The benefits and the taste are the same. Pepple prefer the red flowers. Cause of the color. Nothing more. Red just became the "popluar" color of choice.
Hibiscus rosa-sinensis is edible flower, and research does point to the fact that they have much more potency and higher concentration of antioxidants compared to rosa sabdariffa. Both are edible flowers , rosa sinensis has more anti inflammatory property plus only a fool consumes them to lower sugar levels. One can consume to reap benefits of bioactive compounds in moderation.
If you plant them in the ground they will grow 8 feet tall and 10 feet wide and spread. They are invasive. If you do not want a large plant you will be forever trimming them.
