I have a gameboy advance that does not play games and im unsure if it is the console or games that i have that are cousing this problem, after cleaning it nothing has changed and i was wondering if you could know what the issue would be
Same problem here but after the USB c replacement, still no video out. It charges in the dock but no video out. Other switches give video out on this dock too... No shorts on USB chip and all filters test good too...
my nans ps4 was like that absolutely disgusting.. I had to clean it then repaste it and it works good now accept error code something on the disc drive.
@@rocketrepairs my dad bought me a cheap £15 soldering iron it’s 80w I have some metal wire and this weird soldering paste tube I’m very confused on what to do with it.
My launch PS5 has a connector that moves a little from side to side. Should I worry? The fan still works fine so I’m not sure what to do. I’ve never even taken the fan out of the connector yet it wobbles.
Wonderful job. I’m in the process of getting my unit done for my 08 here in Canada. I had the original cloned before the soldering. It’s a lengthy process to get all this done. But, I know it will be worth it.
I will replace my old laptops usb3.0 ports. They are working but the plastic inside the ports are broken, so sometimes i can't fit the usb 3.0 devices. The video demonstrates the process really well. Thanks (sorry about my English, i am not native)
From the first you have to measure the small cap in the left side near the M92 chip.. if the charging port gone wrong, that cap must be short.. its a simple trace..
Keep up the great content, you definitely have a higher level of skill than most demonstrators on the platform with the same content. I appreciate you for being so thorough!
My ps4 displays only 480p, i tried evereything. Another tv, another hdmi cable and its the same, only 480p. On other resolutions its only black. Any ideas ? Thank you..
Same for me, have you already found an answer?I heard it could be cause by the software, could be caused by ic chip or port as well, just check the resitances near the ic chip, if they beep on two sides, the ic chip is most likely done or check the filters, if those beep straight forwar they good if they cross they aint good(I guess it was like this).Hdmi port change should be the way to go if everything else seems okay.
Hi. Repair Shop says it could be a gpu failure. But apart from a pink screen sometimes, it mainly goes black. He said i may just need a new PlayStation. Are these shops afraid to Repair hdmi?
Hello buddy, thanks for the uploads! I've worked on electronics for years but never worked on a PS5 board until now...my power supply is dead, so I've fully stripped things down and need to replace the DAP053T...but I want to test the board too. I've heard that a bench psu isn't any good for hooking up to the 12V input, due to current limitations...how much current does the board pull when turning on? Will my 10amp bench PSU work? Many thanks
How do I give you a PlayStation to fix? And how much does it cost? My USB ports act strange I think the output is high and it’s only the front I have a pa4 pro and my led keyboard will just blink with one of the front ports then blink light at a certain angle in the other front port please give me some way to contact you and diagnose this problem thank you
Я не понимаю одного-почему в очищенное место не установить разъем HDMI и лишь затем припаять гнездо? Это проще, это быстрее и это не надо перегревать лишний раз печатную плату. Буквально у всех как под копирку
@Rocket Repairs Do you offer online repair classes for those of us that want to learn electronic repair and or want to brush up on repair skills? Ide gladly pay
As a rule the unleaded solder should be removed first, if you don't then there is a risk that the random alloy you create when you add leaded solder will have undesirable characteristics e.g. becoming more brittle, or suffering from tin pest etc. A vacuum de-soldering station is very handy for this, I've repaired a bunch of SAMs now with cracked joints and water damage. I've noticed that there is one specific connector that is considerably more prone to cracked solder joints than any of the others,
