I love the Corvid, but agree on all points about their systemic issues. Exposure is so powerful against them too, and they don't really have a great use for all the excess cards they might gain. Plots are so fun though. Just a few changes to the Corvid could fix their issues and make them a great insurgency faction that's easy to learn, but still offer lots of depth and fun interactions between players. 😊😊
The way you explain things/the editing is perfect. This is the pacing and perfect amount of info to really get an understanding of what I needed to know
I got into a match as Eyrie, and I got stuck in a situation where I couldn't recruit. So every single turn, my turn was skipped. Because I had maximum amount of soldiers and nobody was killing them. Was insanely bad
will you make more villainous videos? I've gotten back into it recently and would love reviews or guides for characters in newer sets (mostly oogie boogie and the expansions for sw/marvel
I was a bit shocked at how poorly the rules are explained for this faction. Literally anything important is omitted or not explained. Also recovery is by far the hardest part and downright hopeless unless you multi camp in same clearing. 1/10 for this video
@LordoftheBoard My friends and I are a group of four who play board games every week. We are looking for a new competitive board game. Is Root a good choice for us or the Arcs? Mind you, we adore challenging, strategic, heavy board games.
I think Root is a more challenging game! I like root better because I’ve played it more and I like how much more asymmetric it is. I can also do what I want on my turn. Arcs is easier but also has a fun way of making you puzzle what you can do on your turn. I don’t think you would go wrong with getting either .
I love how the start of the video is just "It's bad, it looks bad. I don't like to look at it. Next" 😭 "This one... the shape is too pink. But it's blue. Bad"
Dope lighting and production values! In terms of weighting/complexity, how would you rate this out of 5? And is there a lot of analysis paralysis or do the turns flow quite smoothly? Thanks!
Complexity I would give it a 3.5 but easy to pick up once you play the first game. The turns go really fast once you have gotten the game down. But the first few places AP is inevitable. It really quickens the more you play and turns are quick.
There are monthly game nights at my pride community center. I may bring Star Wars and Disney villainous who do you recommend for new players to villainous. I have introduction to evil
Sam that shirt is incredible, love it! Also hell yeah love me Arcs, love me Kyle Ferrin art, love me Leder games. I hate it when the dice don't roll in my favour.
Thank you! Amazing music really makes videos special. I was scouting music for way too long. 😆 I put them all in the playlist I made for arcs in the description
