The final boss, who is the curse of chaos just like knuckles say guardian of the ancestors getting taken in movie sonic 3 Julian robotnik the final haward monster attack chaos to the underworld he lose
The whole last story, this fight, the shadow fall and ending left an everlasting impression on me when I beat it as a kid. The whole game did entirely really
While Sega has had numerous Sonic games after this. I really don't think that Sega will be able to truly surpass how Sonic Adventure 2 was on an emotional level. Especially with the final boss, where both sides, good and evil, had to save an entire planet like this. And if Sega does try to out do this, they would definitely have to work for it.
Unpopular opinion but this final boss was super disappointing as all you do is go straight and hit the orb, there’s no challenge. Probably one of the worst final bosses in the series. I was so hyped when they turned super but I was left with a pretty sour taste in the end.
I mean when Sonic goes super all that means is he's about to wreck whatever he's fighting. These final bossess are pretty much just victory laps for completing the game.
This Scene needs to be in sonic movie 3 if Paramount studios what to finish the Sonic movie trilogy it will be an outstanding ending for Sonic movie franchise just like SEGA dreamcast era.
I adore how at this point in the game everything is about to go to shit with the colony on a crash course with the planet, with less than ten minutes to the impact that will wipe out all life on it. Everybody inside the ARK is desperate, yelling to Sonic and Shadow what could be their final words. It's a straight-up end of the world scenario, and despite all of that the song playing in the background is brimming with positive lyrics and tone. The clashing contrast of the situation and the background music on one hand is a bit funny and even amusing. But on the other hand, there's something powerful about it. It's the music pointing out that against all odds, the bleakest outcome will not come through.
Who's here after the ending of Sonic Frontiers, it's been like 2 decades but I haven't felt like this since this game's ending, glad to finally have this level of depth and epicness into the mainline Sonic game.
I watched the ending to Sonic Frontiers and this ending back to back. I can see what they were going for in Frontiers, but this one hits so much harder. There was a real sense of finality to Shadow, that he'd be gone forever. Frontiers comes nowhere close to this finality and emotional resonance for me.
There’s only one real shadow and he died in this game. The other shadows are androids. In SA2 there are no shadow androids. Robotnik first met shadow in Adventure 2.
