An ace mate of mine Jason Porter was found on a Norfolk Beach in 1998, that 1st song is fitting testament to all those poor souls who did not get out of the places they were in. Blessed be. If anyone else knew Jason Porter (a genius on Octamed and truly unique off the wall man!) I'd love to hear from you :)
So was this their first album released by the band but on paper the band had 5 or so records under their belts when Steven got the call his band was wanted to tour and he scrambled to now make a band our of a made up back story of a band that was a joke amongst some friends? And as for being in a pinch and putting together a band to go tour with he scraped up some not too shabby members. Even the drummer is nothing to sneeze at. You can’t listen and compare, just listen. If this was still the band, they’re still an extremely talented band.
I am under the impression that steve is a Gentle Giant fan. I was blessed to see that band up close in intimate settings. Tower Theater Philadelphia twice, even better wss at Swarthmore College... that wss mind blowing. I was 17 i think 1077... i think maybe it was 76. The Missing Piece album wasn't out yet
can't stop myself coming back to this concert... love early stuff/ this goes down repeatedly as a treat. B..... great band/ yeah, we even love you in NZ!
