I support the operator idea. This would also probably cause players to use the operator abilities a bit more, while they're at it, instead of what we see now, which is nobody goes into operator for anything, other than crazies like me, on unairu, to strip armor.

Regarding Kullervo's boss fight: you can straight up just blast him with any damage during the cutscenes as well. Only tricky part is figuring out where your character is lol. You're still fully operational though. Also, not sure if you missed some projectile melees like Tenet Grigori or if you did test them all but only listed the ones that work for Hall of Mirrors?

I don't think it's weird or obscure, but I don't see it mentioned by anyone. If you have a weapon that innately does a composite damage type (explosive, magnetic, viral, ect.) You can give it the ability to deal 3 composite damage types at once. I currently have my Zarr kitted out to deal explosive, radiation, and I think viral.

I have two of my own ideas for CC interactions with overguard too: 1) Instead of CC immunity, Overguard represents a % chance of CC failing, with full overguard representing 100% fail chance (ie immunity) while 50% remaining overguard = 50% chance of a CC effect working, and so on. Kinda like how you can do parazon finishers before they get killed. This at least offers something to combat situations with mass amounts of Eximus, where you pop an AoE damage effect, then a CC effect, and ideally SOME of them will get CC'd, making your life easier. 2) Inspired by Slay the Spire: Instead of it providing CC immunity, Eximus provide a set amount of times where CC will be blocked, kinda like Artifact status in Slay the Spire. Ideally this means you'd have to use a CC effect repeatedly, but if the situation was desperate enough, you could brute-force the CC once you exhaust those charges.

Post rant Note: Little disclaimer before you read my rant, if you are a crazy person. I generally agree with all of this video, as this video is not trying to argue making cc great again will somehow make the game harder. Just that more valid gameplay options makes more fun game, W Video, this rant is me yapping about how stupid I think that difficulty argument people have yapped at me about before is. Any argument of difficulty is kinda super silly. CC is significantly easier than damage, especially since you always have damage regardless of the frame you are using. The only difference between me ccing them before shooting them with my gun is that i now don't even have to bother trying to meaningfully interact with the enemies at all. Such as knowing what they even do, or dodging them. It would go, press map wide cc, shoot them. Now the difficulty has gone from easy as shit, as warframe always has been. To even easier. Like 'story' mode in an rpg where you auto win all the fights and are essentially watching a movie now. Don't gotta dodge or do anything, you just stand there and do the same thing we are doing now, but now you have to try even less. I know this is the case with some damage frames too, just press the button, everything dies. But I don't understand the difficulty argument for making cc compete with damage, since cc just makes the game even easier than it already is. Totally agree though that we should be allowed to trivialize the game however we want to, whether with cc, or damage vomit, or the forgotten support builds, where you just buff allies and prime enemies. I just think the arguments i hear about cc coming back will somehow make the difficulty feel more challenging because you have to press more buttons or something? is very silly. We should be saying 'let us have fun however we want' instead of 'the game is too easy, thisll somehow fix it' when regarding to the make cc great again war we've been having with DE, People have yapped that argument at me before and it really just sounded like nonsense. Maybe I'm just oversimplifying cc though and don't understand the ways of the vauban or something. But I've never seen warframe as a game that is more than a amazing story, a great community, and thoughtless vibing to brighten my day. Don't really think about my playstyle very much, i just follow the vibe and press the funny button that blows the screen up, or cc the chaf before blowing the screen up. Hehe funny power fantasy game is funny. Maybe one day we'll get raids back, and they'll be actually challenging, requiring innovative strategies and teamwork. And the head will unempty when playing warframe. Enriching the experience of all. I can see it now, a very simple raid mechanic off the top of my head, x cc warframe has to cc enemies t onto x spot, for them to die, or open a door or something. While the damage doers have to stop things from killing the enemies we need to stand on the square. That'd be cool. Also I am a Nyx main. Not your average CC hater, but a delusional Nyx main that thinks chaos is the best ability for defense missions. This has been my yapping. Thank you.

Obscure Suggestion: On a corpus tileset there are 2 domestic drones under an elevator you can get under name Daphnis and Chloe that are invulnerable and pushing into eachother. Most likely a reference to an old Greek story of the same name

What you proposed for Ancient Healers is how they used to work before Overguard, they provided 90% DR and CC/Status resistance. Overguard for healers was an attempt to solve a visual design problem of clearly communicating the buff from Ancient Healers. The bonus overguard is EHP equivalent to the 90% DR but as a result the CC resistance was upgraded to immunity. I think the intent of the demolyst timer is less "keep the target alive this long" and more "fallback timer if the enemy gets stuck" which does happen sometimes, and DE chose to make this timer visible instead of just hiding it. I do think your changes would make the game mode more interesting, I just don't think delaying demolysts was ever an intended way to complete rounds.

24:03 they've gotta fix that command. I one spawned in lephantis's 2nd phase room, and my team couldn't start the 1st phase because I wasn't able to get up there. I tried /unstuck a dozen times and it only kept teleporting me back to the middle of the 2nd phase room 😂

Styanax holds shields for sword and shield weapons wrong. Also, DE never unswapped drifter shoot and melee controls after adding the separate binding tab meaning it will always be inverted between on foot, and on Kaithe.

Also on the topic of different bow having different strike effect, they also holster on your warframe's back differently depending on the length of the bow arm with cinta being the only one to be on the hip instead of the center of the back.

My idea for how to adjust Overguard draws from other sources that have had to tackle this same issue of wanting to preserve some sense of interaction between the player and special enemies. In Dungeons & Dragons, certain high-Challenge Rating creatures will have what's called "Legendary Resistance" - this is a charge-based ability that lets them turn a failed saving throw into a successful one, usually two or three times a day. This prevents the party's Wizard, Monk, Cleric or the like from having the capability to incapacitate them until they've had their chance to be a threat, since most abilities that would do that require the target to fail a saving throw. In League of Legends, Dr. Mundo can ignore any movement-restricting component of an ability that he's hit with, once. This forces his opponent to carefully evaluate their approach, since he can't be slowed or stunned until something that could slow or stun him has already knocked off this resistance. My proposal for how to adjust Overguard is in the same vein as these effects: make it charge-based, and determine the number of charges based on how tough the enemy in question should be to CC. On top of this, make it so the duration of the crowd control effect still starts, but Overguard, while active, prevents the actual effect - this way, there's counter-play if you want to go all-in on CC, or if you have multiple 'Frames in the composition who have at least one CC effect in their kit. For normal special enemies, this "Overguard Count" could be set to something like 2, so that the CC effects only start to take effect once they've been hit with two CC abilities, since I THINK it should take long enough to use two abilities on them for them to get off their own cool gimmick... but if not, maybe 3 to be safe. Then, bosses can have something insane like 5 or 8. Whatcha think?

I would love changes for Defense game mode. I hate that it is just a "kill the wave asap", more than "defend a thing". Not only do I dislike it because I play cc frames, but I heavily agree that it's such an inconsistent game mode compared to survival.

The idea of ancients being able to out heal both Sayrn burst damage and Mesa peacekeepers sound like such a nice way to make it so they arent just one shotting everything the game and have them actually stop and use their proper arsenal every once in a while

A few things about the last 3. 1: the Narmer bounty drone was originally conceptualized as part of Archon Nira's design. you can see them in her concept art, they were supposed to attach themselves to her tail. 2: the Narmer Raknoid bounty target can spawn unique Narmer Mite Raknoids during the fight. The change seems to be cosmetic only, with them being black instead of green and having Narmer holograms. 3: the Plains of Eidolon Narmer bounties also have a unique bounty target. He's a grineer clad in black armor who can call in vomvalysts to boost his defenses.

older armor strips like Nekros' Terrify don't work on Acolytes, but newer ones do. The Acolytes will play an old Stalker audio clip that says "Your Tenno powers are useless."
