Ive just picked up a 2011 Corsa SRI 1.4 100BHP.It started juddering under load going up a hill.I used my Topdon diagnostic that gave me code P0302 cylinder 2 misfire detected.Cars at my mates garage now and im thinking this has happened to the coil pack as water can get down the ignition coil and corrode the coil and the plug.
Hi Paul, how much engine oil do you use for the service of your van? Thinking of servicing my own van which is the same as yours, just cant find details of how much engine oil to use for service!! Thanks Paul
Not an expert Paul but a lot are using rust converters (Kurust), zinc primers and top coating. You have to use your judgement if you've only taken off surface rust then good to go. Problem with paints is sometimes the rust can creep from the inside if thees a chip/crack. A good coat of grease maintainted each year would stop rust in its tracks.
Hi the one with air filter on is under the van if that's what you mean the other is in the driver's door step, hope this helps and thanks for watching.
@@paulshideout9056did you run the cable for the heater up through the bung under the drivers seat. Also did you just run it through without insulation on the tape Thanks.
@whatliesbeneathurbanexplor1631 hi no I made another hole where my water pipes come through the floor the cables are inside a piece of pipe hope this helps
Looked like some knackering work doing that! I know what it feels like after 16 years of working on my t4 which was sold last year due to ulez and lack of time. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the shortnose t4.
Thanks for watching I disconnect it because there is an air bag switch on the dash end if the connector becomes detached the air bag light comes on I've done it lol thanks and good luck
Looks worth saving, the top half is clean enough, which is half the battle. Bit of tidying underneath and it’ll make a pretty good little van. Much better paint than my T4
Hi it was cylinder 4 which is the one on the right of the engine bay looking from the front I believe water gets down there causing the problem good luck and thanks
I just bought the same router and looking to do the same thing (curved door in cabinet) but only in plywood for my more basic van fit out. Thank you for sharing. Now I know a template is the way to go. 👍
Great video. I just did almost the same in an old TL van. People say that it will not last in the humidity etc under the van. What are your experience? And what weather have you been driving in? Thanks! :)
Hi well it's still works I don't drive the van that much or in bad conditions but hopefully it last if not they are quite cheap and I will change it thanks for your comments and good luck 👍
I recently changed my coil pack. I tried to take out the new coil pack but it is stuck so tightly. To take it out can i use force to pull or do i need any tools?
