When I saw the title I was ready to take the hiss...but...I kinda like it. Waaaay more complicated than my van, but some ideas, which is what RU-vid is all about. I paid £3,200 for my 08 Vivaro 6 years ago and have spent about £3,000 fitting it out =£6,200. In those 6 years we have spent more than 150 nights/days in it. A cheap B&B in Europe is about £50 + meals for 2 £50/day, so that equals £15,000+ saved..plus we have a dog. Anyway a nice job son and a bit of originality which I respect. Thanks for sharing.

That’s a grand conversion, looks really well put together. I was one of the guys that was helped by your diesel heater videos, helped to give me the confidence to drop the tank and the heater as made a big difference to my van cheers.

Great craftsmanship! Ideal for two of you, we find an awning essential when there are kids and lots of luggage as well. Otherwise no room to make the bed with everyone in the way etc. High standard and pretty good value wise.

Very nice home build with some great well thought out features. The night time loo cupboard is spot on we keep ours behind the back door and have to carry it in each night. Thanks for sharing . When I look at the quality of your videos I am amazed you don't have thousands of subscribers., especially with the van world growing as it is.

Like you van, we'll thought out. We have a Ford Transit custom Devon Firefly hightop automatic swb, I like the design of it because toilet has a privacy door that closes off the rear of the van similar to the Ford Nugget plus but firefly has a proper woodern door and is half the price. Van is same length as a VW Transporter swb.

Love the vids Paul, great stuff. Still in the process of building mine, really need to finish my C shape layout bed off and then get on making my wiring loom up (that will be fun 😬). Just wanted to ask what profile and width your tyres are? I've also got some 50mm H & R lowering springs which I've been eager to fit but I'm concerned the fronts will rub as mine are 20×40x275.

Great tour! Interested to understand your Bluetooth amp setup. Do you use a manual switchover to switch over from the headunit to the Bluetooth/leisure system? What amp do you use?

Hi I have a switch on the blue tooth amp in the back when I'm camping I just turn on the amp and that's it the speakers in the back are wired from the van head unit and the blue tooth amp simples the amp just from.ebay thanks

Hi thanks my wheels are 20 inch the tyres are 20x40x275 I think the offset is 40mm but not 100% on that good luck !

Hi Paul, well done on the van, I had the same problem on my transit custom with the swivel seat, could be a pain sometimes and i'm now doing a lwb t5.1 but went for the MS Craft swivel, night and day mate, the MS Craft is a delight to use and you can have the seat in different positions, even at the sliding door, great bit of kit.I'd be interested in your water tank set up, any details or info?

How did your insurer take to the replacement wheels and lowering? I would like to do similar but worry that the van insurance premium will rocket!
