I bought it today and it sounds like when you modded it Akko said they would lub the keys more and fix and they did it :D new versions come sounding far better
@@QuietTechYT Yeh, i have some keys like the spacebar which is not entirely different and the alt and tab keys are way more clicky but the rest is more silent
i taped mod my akko mod007b he and yea it helped, it made it sound more poppy and thocky much more compared to traditional switches with a cover on the bottom of the housing
@@darkxneyt3968 looks like the akko mod he board is quite different, having sockets for mech switches as well, which i did not know. the board im using now, the AS K85 HE, didn't sound much different with a tape mod, and im wondering if that's related to the PCB not having any holes or sockets. very different than the akko. i have a mod007b he on order and am eager to try it out

is page key next to right ctrl and the delete key a different color? on mine it looks similar to those around it but definitely a different color and texture.
There's quite a big difference, especially the old version of the magnetic switches.. But there's an updated version now which sounds closer, but still pretty far off the sound of the normal once.
Hey dude great video! Sorry if this is unrelated but i cant find any info anywhere. Do you know what heavier springs would work with these switches without messing with the magnetic hall effect?

hello i just got this keyboard not the exact same but its the MOD007B PC Tokyo - Akko Cream Yellow Magnetic Switch but when i switch the switches to 3 pins like the akko silver switch or the akko blacks i even put in a holy panda and for some reason it doesnt work... did u download any app or code for it to work ?
@@QuietTechYT yes i do have the software the latest one i tried replacing all the switches but still doesnt work i even contacted akko and they haven’t replied yet even on their discord
