The plan to replace everything in the county unfortunately did fall through. The county was looking at Whelen's for a while, since the activation system in the Whelan hardware normally interface is quite well and there are multiple systems like it like in Columbus Georgia as well as Houston County Georgia. The guy who is in charge of that particular project I believe is now our congressman so it's been put on the back burner. Thunder beams are getting replaced as they fail
@@wsal01This one appears to be running a 2020. It might be an exception. All the ones I've seen including the one that Brewer high School were all VLC 864s.
I know that the county had plans at some point to replace it's 2001s and i assume any remaining Thunderbeams. I wonder if they plan on replacing these as well.
As far as I know everything in the county is getting replaced as soon as it gives or breaks, these might be here for years before they get a 3v8 in their place, but as of right now Huntsville-Madison has had that plan fall through.
@@wsal01 it's two different pitches an octave apart from each other. There's only one single tone 20 HP sentry in Madison county, at the village of Providence
Tornadoes, nuclear meltdown (since this is a county included in Browns Ferry evacuation radius), and essentially anything that can cause severe weather capable of producing natural disasters.
Morgan County isn't maintained by West Shore Services. It's maintained by DEC (Decatur Electronics Communications) Same with Limestone. But, TVA is maintained by West Shore Services.
