So I figured on re-recording the Vortex a few weeks ago and getting it without having a weird shadow and being backlit, but since I was so far away the centering on it (since I have a 300mm lens) wasn't looking right and I don't want to push my camera scaling up in the editing software, but other then that two alerts and two silent tests weren't usual for the activation, it's supposed to be 2 alerts, and when I was leaving the spot it rotated 3 times.
Morgan County tests on the first Wednesday of every month @ 9:15AM CST weather permitting allowing slight drizzle and no severe weather outlook for the rest of the day.
Morgan County TVA sirens and the surrounding counties 508's are maintained by TVA & WSS.
Morgan County sirens (mostly Whelens) are maintained by Decatur Electric Communications.
