Well, it didn't take long to figure out that you don't understand this at all. You wouldn't notice a 2db change in loudness. The smallest value you'd notice is 3db and many people wouldn't notice that. You never mentioned if the db levels you're using are weighted or how they're weighted (A, B ,C?). You're not giving frequencies, either. 100db @ 800 hz will sound a whole lot louder than 100db @ 80 hz. The design, shape and weight of a silencer can make a difference in how you perceive the sound even if it's at the same sound level (db). I'm not saying AB Suppressors aren't good. I'm just suggesting you talk to your engineers and get a better understanding of the topic.
I think they’re trying to give information to the standard user and not the autist’s like yourself. Yes they probably have full waveform data that they can look at but most people don’t care about that. They care about 3 numbers: weight, db, price.
OK, so it looks like each additional pair of baffles past four lead to a 3 dB drop. Also, either a 2 inch or 3 inch reflex leads to about a 2 dB drop. I have been considering the purchase of a very short system. It seems like. A two baffle stack with a reflex would perform about like a 4 baffle stack. I’m gonna speculate that each inch of reflex is worth about one baffle. Good to know! I already have a cheap 9mm rifle suppressor. Next up, I’ll be getting a raptor 7.62, probably 2 or 4 baffle and most likely with 3” reflex.
SilencerCo hybrid .46 You can get .22, .30, and .46 caliber endcaps. Probably one of the most flexible suppressors on the market. Limiting yourself to .375 eliminates anything larger. no .40cal, .45cal. Will it be quieter than the Hybrid 46 on the .30 cal stuff? you would need sound meters to tell the difference so in the real world... Who cares. If you really want to split hairs then buy a suppressor specifically for the caliber you're shooting. If you want flexibility, then buy an actual flexible suppressor and don't bitch that it's not perfect for everything. I like my Hybrid 46 enough that I'm buying another simply because I have invested a small fortune in accessories. I also want a purpose built .22 rimfire suppressor that can be dismantled and properly serviced.

Got me a couple Little Birds from a BOGO deal. I have to say, I noticed they were quieter compared to my DeadAir Mask 22. I have one that stay on my M&P 15-22 AR pistol and the other I move from my Sig P322 and Walther P22. I love these cans 🤘🏽
Would be interesting to see the omega with a flat end cap. I bet that’s why the shooters ear measurement was higher than expected. I bet it’s 130 or less with a flat end cap in your test setup

Just got mine out of atf jail after almost 17 months (had to literally call my congressman). Tested it on a direct blowback pcc, non-tilting barrel semi auto 9mm pistol, and subsonic only 300blk. Plenty of unburnt powder with the pistol, sounded great with the pcc (no gas to the face) and when put head to head vs a heavy precision 30 cal can, the 300blk sounded superior with the F4L and still zero gas the the face even in the indoor range. Interestingly, though it's a low back pressure can, the 300blk would cycle with the F4L but not the heavy 30 cal can which is high back pressure. No regrets, i love this thing.
How about a thread adapter to go from M14x1 to 5/8x24 to enable us to utilize your 7.62 suppressor. That is unless you want the majority of AK users to use the Dead Air Wolverine which is already threaded in M14x1 threads. You are not even giving us an option, especially considering that many of us are finally jumping in to get our first suppressor because of the short approval times. A few hours of CNC development time to create new customers. It’s a win-win for your company and newer customers. You could also implement just in time manufacturing and run small batches. I can't find a huxwrx 14x1 brake right now so what I'm doing is I bought a griffin armament 14x1lh to 5/8x24 adapter I have to Dremel a little notch in it so that the little security thingy on my zastava ak locks it in place. Then I can mount my brake to that and then thread my can onto the brake. Stupid but others have been doing it based off good reviews on the adapter

Just got a raptor 10 375 came w 5/8 flush mount. Used a cheap 1/2 x28 adapter and POI shift was horrendous. Still can’t find raptor adapter to use with YHM phantom QD which are on most of my tools. Hopefully that solves it.
Anybody know how this will work with sub 16" barrels? ATF requires me to have a "permanent" muzzle device that takes the length to 16" You all know that game. Anyway, for direct thread I have to remove my Keymo device which is fine - but unless I weld the reflex and suppressor together and to my barrel I'll be exercising my rights which we can't have. Is there an exception for suppressors in the rules or will I just have to SBR my rifle (or get a longer barrel)?
