@@theartistelizabeth I don’t mind separation. Even Schmincke paints separate. I use a needle to mix any separated paints. I want to buy a very long needle just for tube mixing. I used to have one but I can’t remember where I put it.

Wow Elizabeth, how exciting to get a xmas in July box. I actually sent a thank you gift to one of my viewers she absolutely loved it. That's so funny we think alike. Here in the US DS watercolors were on sale in which I got 3 different sets 1 6 set, 1 10 set and one 12 half pan set I am about to get in the next week. All colors of inspiration. I actually sold 4 small brand new tubes to another RU-vid which she did not have in her collection. I had doubles that is why. I have 2 more small tubes in doubles which are Hans yellow light and Moonglow. I have notice some good changes on DS tubes which in the past my watercolors were super hard to rewet but that is not the case anymore. Love seeing a video from you. Happy Painting! Maria

@@theartistelizabeth Hi Elizabeth, thank you for your beautiful comments. Yes, I love DS watercolors now but that was not always the case. I viewer share with me that not all DS were hard to rewet as I had a really hard time with my older tubes as soon as they dry. I am happy with my new sets of DS. I got the Jean Haines set last month for 40 dollars and I have another set coming from Japan for the same price. I found so many sales of DS watercolors last month. Maria
Honestly I don’t like it. I have tried it before and its not as opaque as it should 😅 The one from Caran D’ache is way better tho it doesnt have pigment info & lightfast rating 😅

Hi My @awatercolourist do you mean i Tape it around everytime i use it? I thought of that but then I have to remove the tape when i need to put it back ln the box 😅 But honestly i like this sable brush .. really good for small details too.

I just watched your sennelier watercolor in wooden box set haul and now I am watching this full packed Rembrandt watercolor box video. I wish Rembrandt update the travel sable brush they put on sets so it the cap don't fall everytime people use it.

Hi Elizabeth, Love the Sennelier wooden Box. You could get a 24 set wooden box during Nov/Dec. at Jackson Art, they do include a porcelain pallet and 2 small aqua brushes. I bought this box a few years ago and it was just amazing. I also have the small la petit one. Love what your friend send you from Japan. My niece is going to Japan in September and I plan to ask her to get me some Holbein watercolors/pencils. Thanks for sharing all of your goodies. Maria
