I long for the days of the true Republican Party. I don't often agree, but at least there was room for respect, compromise, and an understanding that our constitution is a living document that everyone will defend, and that personal freedom and Democracy are everyone's bottom line goal.

This is exactly what I'm scared of. It doesn't matter what the people say, Biden and eventually Kamala Harris (endgame) is going to be our next president. Donald Trump will win the popular vote 99 to 1 and electoral college Biden will win the vote 56 to 44.
The mics need to be cut off when their time to speak is up. Trump's strategy is always to bully whoever he is being interviewed by or debating against. It's evidence of how weak his arguments are when he can't be quiet and let then other person talk. And funny how he was worried about Biden packing the courts when that's exactly what him and his cronies did. It's why our supreme court and district court judges are disproportionately republican now compared to the makeup of the full constituency of the united states.
The affordable care act sucks. Oh no, your rates won't go up, your benefits won't go down. The second it went into place my payments went up by about $100 a month and my deductibles and co-pays went up. I had insurance through work that I couldn't afford to use.
Tens of millions of people, including myself and my family, had it! As a disabled self-employed person, that was my only choice and I was very happy with it!!
That's BS the rates and coverage was going down before the plan went in place. Also part of the reason it went up is politicians adding things like mental health coverage to all plans.
I think your numbers are a bit off. I'm also disabled but work full time and have never stopped. But in order for your"tens of millions of people " that benefited from it, the other half of us suffered with bullshit insurance because of the subsidies that were given. And we were given no choice but to pay it. But I'm happy you were taken care of.
@deniseleuallen5994 I paid an insurance premium, I didn't get a subsidy. I WAS really relieved I could GET a policy. It wasn't cheap or free, but it was good coverage. Otherwise, I am uninsurable. But my numbers aren't wrong over 45 million people are enrolled for 2024.
He wode President Obama coattails for two years, and that's why he kept saying we had a great economy . Look at the last two years of his presidency and see how he made us weak and a laughing stock in the world .
