The original version of this was color; but a friend suggested B&W ala Justice League Ultraspecial Final edition. And he wasn’t wrong!

This is really good! Maybe too good. There's a point where it presses on the thin membrane between parody and what Snyder might actually do, and it's a little scary. Now I'm scared. 😱

Boy I felt that roller coaster in the edit. Had other scenes planned, but sometimes you just have to ride the wave and see where you land.

Despite this being a parody you've managed to elevate it into a piece of art. I love the subtle bursts of speed that are dotted throughout.

Thank you. For certain this started as a parody, and I had outlined a bunch of other jokes for the film with this as the cold open. Then it became something else. Pretty wild how well Burton’s cinematography works with this treatment

Hard disagree! As I see this is a good tonal match for Snyder’s use of music - overtly dramatic, cinematic, and perhaps too on the nose. When I heard the line “Dances with the Devil” it was an instant lock. All that said, music placement and editorial is insanely subjective.

To much realtime footage. Snyder does slow-mo, and then slows that further at the "action" peak for super slow-mo. If you dont feel like your looking at a poster, its not a Snyder movie. Also, if you later cut in dialog, you need to make sure its scripted REALLY bad.
