Those tones with the room sound makes me understand the hype with Archetype Nolly. Hope that room sound IR option comes to QC with the Nolly x, would definitely encourage me to go towards QC over Axe fx.
yep. this one is a doozy alright. really digging these. i've always focused more on tone, feel, note choices etc than crazy technique but i really love what you're doing melodically and rhythmically in these licks. and so many of these moves are great starting points for generating some rad original vocabulary. being a hybrid picker myself some of it actually comes pretty naturally to me and feels really good to play. i was recording myself practicing the other day and was like whoa, it actually kinda sounds like i have chops lol anyway thanks man. sounding awesome. keep em coming! ps that guitar has me kinda confused. it looks pretty metal but the clean sound has some real tasty strat character? look forward to hearing more about it! cheers;) MKZ
Great amp and lovely playing. Do I recognise an Al Di Meola influence? My D25 (in Imperial green with gold grill and piping) is fantastic with pedals especially the Origin Effects RevivalDRIVE. I've yet to try the effects loop for modulation pedals though.
Great playing, I just got Portraits Tab book at Sheet Happens but my question isn’t about music, It’s about your camera’s lens selection. Can you share what lens did you use for the intro. Thanks in advance.
This is genuinely one of the best guitar channels on RU-vid - honest discussion between two top tier musicians. Criminal it doesn’t have more subscribers and views!
Hey man, so dope. I remember messaging you on instagram a few years ago, happy to see you’re making RU-vid content. I know you’re located in Montreal, and I wanted to say I’m also hoping to move there myself! Hope all is well and keep at it!
I wouldn’t call it stealing as much as I would call it inspiration. I’m sure many artists get inspiration from other songs. That’s the beauty of music, it influences the creative process.
I am attending a school about songwriting and the last homework is gonna be about making a full song. I’m definitely gonna try the approach you just gave in this video, thanks a lot!
Damien Riehl and Noah Rubin also “copyrighted” every possible melody that could be generated and made it available for public use. Whether or not that would hold up in a court remains to be seen.
I know chord functions, but my actual articulation skills and creativity are seriously lacking. Wondering if this course goes over rhythm/scale sequence ideas or if this only goes through chord function.
Hey dude! the course is very very comprehensive and covers a lot of subjects like rhythm and scale sequences and many others. for context the Chord function part of the course is only a small portion! there something like 4-5h of content in there haha
@@JosephAnidjar awesome man, thanks for the response. I’m interested, so I will check it out. I actually talked to you on a zoom call a couple years back about possibly getting signed up for lessons and just wasn’t in the place. Excited for this course!
