The Chicago Blues Network is a global social impact community of interest in the art form Chicago Blues. We connect Chicago Blues musicians with those who have a passion for the Chicago Blues style of music to further the study and appreciation of this urban music discipline.
Our goal is to become the destination for all things Chicago Blues, actively supporting musicians, record labels, clubs, festivals, foundations, neighborhoods and individuals. Through our bootcamps, our web-based training, our live Chicago Blues shows, our blues letter, our podcasts, and our social media we seek to bring together women and men of all ages in Europe, Asia, South America, Africa, and The Americas.
We stand up for the dignity, respect and human rights of the global Chicago Blues community.

Saw you at the Stanhope House in NJ back in the 90's and have been a huge fan ever since. You look great and sound great and have definitely earned your position as a blues great.
I like how Joanna says she's worked with some of the greats. She IS one of the greats. I've rarely heard the blues played anywhere near as good as she plays them.
Thanks. I love Muddy Waters. My fave..but he didn't write this song. Ann Cole did.... (he kinda swiped it and didn't give credit...) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Got_My_Mojo_Working
What a resource you are Johnny Burgin! Great Lesson!!! It ain’t easy to please Hummel on the traditional Blues front but you’re helping me get there…Always in school!
I love Nick's music and have for at least 25 years. I could not give two giant turds what his opinion on politics or issues are. I'm confident he feels, as he darn well should, the same exact way about my opinion on those issues. A) it's a personal belief B) there is no right or wrong C) it's 100% subjective and finally D) just because someone's a guitar player, singer, drummer, etc does not and never will equate to their opinions on the issues being worth a penny more than the next person's. When musicians I really and truly like and support by purchasing their records, going to their shows, and buying merch start going in heavy on politics, religion, or current issues, I ditch them like a hot potato. I don't care if their views align with my own or if their 180 degrees opposed to mine. I will never knowingly pay a dime to listen to a musician talk about politics of any kind. Life's too short to listen to that stuff. Play your show, make your records, and design your merch. I like you and know who you are due to your musical talent and creations. Please never take that away from me, the fan. When I go to see a band or artist I like, it's literally two to three hours of complete freedom from the day to day nonsense of the world around us. It's a mini escape where we the fans get to listen to the universal language and have a night out free from issues. We've walked out of more than a few shows when the artist starts talking about this cr*p. I can watch TV here at home and listen to all this garbage. Spare me,I spent my hard earned money to see and hear you make that joyful noise. Cheers
I love you, I don't care if you play with an R8 or with a bread cutting board, you are very great. I hope I can see you live one day. a big hug from Spain
