Are you able to tell me how much the swivels r us model raises the factory height of the seat? Thank you in advance!

Not exactly sure. But its a good 1-2 inches at least. I feel slightly higher in the passenger. And she likes it because its a booster chair for her. Promasters you ride high so not ideal if you're tall.

I know it’s an old video but can you please tell me how much was the estimate and exactly how many days it took to actually be repaired?
@JRNYFWD
@JRNYFWD 3 месяца назад
Well it was local body shop and was paid for by the dealer who didn't disclose it. We saw it in the first 48 hours of delivery. Took 2 days and the estimate was about $1,000 give or take.

"Does it work with *no* cell signal?" ... "... it's got one little bar..."
@JRNYFWD
@JRNYFWD 3 месяца назад
Cell signal doesn't seem to matter when you run the Weboost. We've received a signal with no bars showing. And had slow response with 1 bar showing. So not sure about the science behind how it expands. Really depends on if the Weboos can expand the signal to where it is.

I am just getting ready to do my install. What did you do wrong that caused the bolts to break?

What is the range distance?
@elizabethgolding2754
@elizabethgolding2754 Год назад
Best to put side rails together first before attaching to roof in one piece. Also you can add the bolts and t-nuts to the straight bracket (just catch the threads) and slide it into the rail from an end -- just line it up to the middle of the splice and tighten. No chasing t-nuts.

Absolutely. We ended up running a short 2 piece aluminum duct that had a swivel. so we could shoot it down the walkway instead of at the cabinet. Though we've done

The output wires just run Straight to the camper battery? With a breaker on the positive line? Looks easier than I thought. Question are you running a fuse on the positive line at the battery or just running a breaker before the dc dc charger? I think that’s what I saw…..

I originally had 220Ah of GC FLA in my promaster. At low SoC they would pull 42A through a charging relay (VSR). After those batts their cycle life I replaced them with 100Ah of LFP. This bank pulls 30A at very low SoC. This morning the bank was 40% SoC and charged at 25A. I installed a switch on the VSR to disable it when the bank is at 100% SoC. The VSR cost about 1/5th what the DC-DC does and works for me. I mention this in case others are wondering if DC-DC were mandatory.

First off thank you so much for your video-it was very helpful. In fact I bought the same fuse as you did and think it was extremely wise utilizing area provided by Promaster area provided for addition fuse. I did go out to my van and looked closer at positive battery connections and it does appear that you bypassed your fuse. I believe cable going from your van battery should be connected on other end of fuse so electricity flows through fuse. As seen at 7.25. I'm not an electrician so I may be wrong. SORRY! I should have read through the comments first. I see that you already addressed this issue.

You are absolutely right. The fuse is currently disabled.

Thank you so much for making this video... it gave me the confidence to tackle this same project with my Promaster. Was the foam gasket enough to give you the clearance you needed over that horizontal bar behind the seat? Or did you have to improvise somehow?
@JRNYFWD
@JRNYFWD Год назад
There was barely enough room with only the gasket. May have not adjusted slightly when cranking down bolts. But if we did again we would add a short riser to clear the bar and allow for a duct vent or duct hose to fit onto.

Sorry. Great content, but your music VOLUME SUCKS. I'm not going to keep adjusting my volume control just to watch your videos. I made it through the first two... and that's it. I'm tapping out. I don't know WHY RU-vidrs spoil their channel with excessive noise! WHAT'S THE POINT? Trying to liven it up? Even for the intro. SHOCK VALUE! Big fail right there. I tune in to relax, not get hyped up. Good luck on your future ventures. Wish I could have watched your whole playlists and future videos to follow your adventures. Keep safe, healthy, and happy.
