Got it today, installed it easily and it works great. And for the throttles I recommend using some ice cream sticks, which you can easily make little thicker with electrical tape (if needed). And you just slide them in the throttle body just a little bit, along the throttle arm, and finally you tape the stick and throttle arm together.
I bought one which arrived today 05-06-24. So easy to put together and fitted it onto my yoke this afternoon. Works really well exactly as Kevin described. Thank Kevin for such a simple solution.
Wow!!! I ordered this less than 3 weeks ago and it was delivered today. I can’t believe how quickly it got here to the United States. My wife accidentally opened it and the look on her face was priceless because she had no idea what it was. It didn’t take her long though before she asked “is this more stuff for your flight thing in the man cave?”. Anyhow took me about 3 minutes to set the pins in the bearing and then put it on the yoke. Couple quick adjustments to the tightness of the screws and for the first time in 3 years I could land a plane the way you would in real life. This simple accessory is a complete game changer and literally has rekindled my desire to fly MSFS. Absolutely brilliant!!! Kevin is also amazing at responding if you have questions and was incredibly polite and professional. Please, if you haven’t already, BUY this ASAP if you have the Velocity One yoke. I am beyond happy.
I've been using this solution for a couple of weeks. It absolutely helps smooth the elevator action on the Velocity One yoke. Nicely made and simple to install. Great product. I bet TB has been looking at this.
Hello Kevin! I was thinking of purchasing the STL files. Do you get all the required parts for assembly printed, or do you need to get some additional parts too (like the screws etc..)?
Random comment here but I NEED the left side hat switch, mine is missing and I am real bad at modeling thus far.. is there any way you could help me model a new left side hat switch? 🤣😭
Just received mine, thanks for the fast shipment. I had no issues with my yoke and was just looking to make it better. Definitely worth the upgrade!! Now it allows much finer & smoother movement, especially helpful during landings.
What a delight to find such a well engineered product at such a reasonable price. Follow the steps in the videos works perfectly. You will appreciate the difference this makes.
Hola Kevin, quisiera comprar tu producto acabo de adquir Turtlebeach velocity pero entro enlace de la pagina de compra y mustra restingidas las compras.
I printed my own from the STL file and used standard PLA. After about six months the upper collar cracked at one of the flanges so I reprinted with PETG. I would suggest either PETG or ABS for added strength. The device works 100% as advertised and saves the Velocity One (which is otherwise a great device) from being a piece of junk.
Hey mister! Just bought the yoke myself, and the sticking is super frustrating. Are yoy planting on making more physical versioner of your fix? I have no 3d printer and a fix is really necessary for this yoke to work.
What Can I say Bloody Brilliant, Shame you Don't work for Turtle Beach Better still Have your own Company Developing Products for us on MSFS When I can afford the flight wheel I most certainly will be ordering your Product But at the moment i have the velocity one flight stick which i find also quite stiff
Hello. Just received your device. Works great! Changes 100% the feeling. Congratulations and a big thank you for this device. Cheers, José from Portugal
Got mine yesterday and installed today, what a difference! Mine was bad since day one and when I complained to Turtle Beech about it they just said the while break-in rubbish story which I think is only to persuade you from returning it. Now big surprise it’s out of warranty. Break-in is not the problem, you can tell it’s a design flaw, and mine only got worse. It’s nice to SIMULATE flying a real aircraft where you sometimes have only one hand on the yoke, and the other on the throttles. Thanks for this fix!
Just ordered the "Turtle Beach VelocityOne Fligh"... Then I went straight to your shop to order your Binding Fix, which seems by the way quite a "must have" on this Turtlebeach hardware... !! ;)
Installed the latest version today. Beautiful quality product the metal thread for the screws was the icing on the cake. For the first time I was able to land with one hand on the yoke. Your love for making these quality things is very inspiring.
thats exactly what i am hoping to do, one handed landings with no sticking and grinding. just smooth natural motion like a joystick on a ball joint. was your install pretty simple and would you say the pitch axis feels a lot smoother? thank you!
glad i found this video. I have been lifting the yoke to move it for small corrections to reduce the drag and stickiness. i assume that this roller system lifts it for your while creating a support. just ordered it.
