!!!!!!PLEASE FOLOW THIS LINK FOR AN UPDATED VIDEO!!!!! • Turtlebeach velocity o... tutorial to install and assemble the Turtlebeach velocity one yoke binding fix etsy link: vandijkstuff.etsy.com
I bought one which arrived today 05-06-24. So easy to put together and fitted it onto my yoke this afternoon. Works really well exactly as Kevin described. Thank Kevin for such a simple solution.
I've been using this solution for a couple of weeks. It absolutely helps smooth the elevator action on the Velocity One yoke. Nicely made and simple to install. Great product. I bet TB has been looking at this.
Your design is exactly what TB should be offering to their customers. After using the yoke for 30 seconds, it is obvious that it needs a proximal bearing. Nice job. As I don't have a 3D printer, I would be happy to purchase a physical product and hope you can make another batch soon! I'm sure they sell out quickly!
Got it today, installed it easily and it works great. And for the throttles I recommend using some ice cream sticks, which you can easily make little thicker with electrical tape (if needed). And you just slide them in the throttle body just a little bit, along the throttle arm, and finally you tape the stick and throttle arm together.
I just have received the finished part from Etsy. I've installed it and had tighten it too much. The result was disatisifying. After watching this video and understanding how important it is to find the correct tightness of the screws it runs on butter. I'm happy now Thanks for your excellent work!
Hello Kevin. Your fix is absolutely fantastic. I received it about 3 days ago and have been trying various tightening's and have now found the sweet spot setting you mention. Thank you so much for this fix. I was getting very frustrated with the yoke's excessive stickiness. The fix has resolved the problem massively. Thank you again .
What a delight to find such a well engineered product at such a reasonable price. Follow the steps in the videos works perfectly. You will appreciate the difference this makes.
I made a similar fix using a worm clamp and two spring loaded screen door rollers. It works. Turtle Beach needs to step up, acknowledge the issue and at least provide a remedy source. This simple device that Kevin has come up with would solve the problem at very low cost because, aside from this issue the Velocity One is a very good product.
Good Day, Kevin. I just got mine. I am in Toronto, Canada. It took a few weeks to get here. Thank you for including more pins. I broke one - it is a very tight fit. Everything else went well. Works like a charm. Thank you again - well thought out, excellent design and very clear instructions on how to install.
glad i found this video. I have been lifting the yoke to move it for small corrections to reduce the drag and stickiness. i assume that this roller system lifts it for your while creating a support. just ordered it.
Bought STL files last night--Did not have PETG filament so printed in PLA Plus--had everything else so put it togather and installed--It is very effective at reducing the yoke stick dramatically..................any one thinking about buying it just buy it--as they say--DON'T THINK--DO---you will be very happy with the improvement--printed easy in PLA and I got some PETG today and that printed just as easly--it is everything promised in the video--WOW and Thanks
Hello Kevin. The kit finally was delivered to Colorado! Thanks for creating this device and video. It makes my V1 much better. By the way, I think your English is very good!
So many people asked me to make more of my binding fixers, so I did! 🤩 After a very long print marathon I managed to make a batch of 50, the biggest batch yet! Available now on etsy! www.etsy.com/nl/listing/1533234581/velocity-one-binding-fixers-physical
Hello, I made a purchase on Etsy thinking it was for an actual pre-made bracket. Do you make them and post them to people? I've just purchased one of the yokes and saw your RU-vid video. I would very much like one but don't have a 3D printer. Any help is appreciated, thank you.
You'd be wise to put the STL for sale as well, like most other creators within the 3d printing community. I, for example, would not pay 11 euros shipping on top of the asking price of something that I can 3d print myself, perhaps with even better quality. It's also a relatively simple design, easy to make from scratch but I probably wouldn't bother if I could buy something already tested and just print it.
Maybe I will, but there are a lot of people that don't have a printer, and I don't want someone using my stl to resell it to make a profit. What would you pay for the stl if I might ask?
@@kevinvandijk86does the stl file also come with a shopping list of the other times needed to fit this stl? And do you know if they are available in the unities states?
Hi, I've gone to your ebay link to try and buy it but I think I'm unable to. The page is in another language so I could be wrong but I don't see a buy button. I would appreciate your assistance as I would like to purchase your product. thank you.
