Young lady did you and I ever have discussions about the Swedish television program Wallander? I remember I used to talk to a young lady on RU-vid about Wallander a little bit years ago. She played a harp also
I discovered these two by chance, looking for Heloise on harp playing Debussy. Amazing. Truly something not of this world, it sits somewhere between us and heaven. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us!
Perhaps THE most beautiful pieces of music ever put to paper. And played masterfully by Miss Héloïse, so lovely. I honestly sat here thinking [oddly] that if we as a species were/are ever visited by "aliens", we need simply to play this for them to plead our case that we are capable of such beauty, enough to mercifully overlook our glaring faults.
I still come back to this. I used to listen to this all the time when I visited Alaska. And now when I listen, I miss the fabulous trip it was. Thank you for your music, a touch of heaven.
I’ve played this piece on the piano but now it feels like it’s meant to be a harp piece 😂 like arpeggios just sound better on a harp ; maybe Debussy in general is just better on a harp
Besides being an exquisite instrument the harp is also hard to play (the tension on the strings, some of those strings are hard as a cheese wire, ouch) so, looking at your lovely dainty fingers... respect mademoiselle (madame?) Jenlis.
