40 something couple on a mission to explore the world in our campervan! We are Alan & Caz - a 40 something couple - and we love traveling around, hiking, cycling and exploring this beautiful world around us. Over the next few years, we will be exploring as much of this world as we can. Alan & Caz
Hi guys 👋 Thanks for taking us on another fantastic hike. I really enjoy your videos as I can't do these climbs anymore. Thanks guys 👍🐸 PS You do realise if you do get some stickers you'll have to climb all these mountains again to leave one 🤣🤣
Ahh thank you guys. That means a lot. We’ve taken a few weeks off recently after an accident but hopefully back releasing video soon. Are you travelling anywhere move soon?
@@wanderingsofalanandcaz that is reassuring. Thanks for the fast response. I try and do the same on my channel.. don't worry different content :). Thanks again.
Thank you guys. It’s a shame the tree was lost. Hopefully it will grow back over the coming years. The whole Northumberland 250 is stunning, we really enjoyed exploring the area and making this whole series.
Yes, you got Mass Rock right 👍, Catholic masses and religious education were strictly outlawed. Somewhere like this was probably the secret location where the local community would meet for mass each week. The priest would also have to be spirited in, after being in hiding for the rest of the week. Great video, it looks amazing there
@@CormacMaher Thanks for the lovely comment Cormac. This area was beautiful and such an amazing history. We love places like this that have so many stories.. can’t wait to return to explore some more.
Hi Julia. Thanks so much for the lovely comment. We used black flush hinges off Amazon. Drop us a message on Instagram and I can send you a picture of them 👍
Absolutely amazing video. Me and my wife did a mini break there about 5 years ago, we saw the break on secret escapes and just booked it. Cost about £800 for 2 of us half board for 4 nights. Absolute top value … perfect little hotel on Lake Bled and veranda and view over the lake to the little island… we hired a car for about 80 euros … went to the Soca valley but a part where you could walk along the river on wooden bridges along the vertical sides of the river walls. Incredible place. Another day we just randomly got on a train and headed towards some mountain and lake ski resort but no snow as was summer but we took the cab,e came up to the top …incredible. Cat remember the lakes name, I called it Lake BOHICA as it sounded a bit like that word…that stands for Bend Over Here It Comes Again… lol an American word made up in WWII lol… High,y recommend this country it’s beautiful ❤
@@buffplums It’s an amazing country for sure. We can’t wait to go back properly. We briefly drove through it again a few weeks ago in the way to Bosnia but didn’t have time to explore properly.
@@wanderingsofalanandcaz it was lovely to see your journey, I think I’d like to back again but life is too short and so many other beautiful places to see.
Great start can't wait to see next one. Can you tell me about where you parked in rovinj and how much it cost? Also did you need permit to fly drone? We are going to croatia in October.
Hi. We parked at a little motorhome car park about 10 mins walk from the town. It was €4 per hour 👍 I believe if you follow rules for drone flying then you should be fine. Check the rules though just to be certain 👍
Hi Julia. We didn’t cushions ourselves. It was pretty easy using our method. We got the fabric off eBay and the foam off Facebook marketplace second hand. 👍 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-78ZcfyEW5NI.htmlsi=HRfpbuvUTL0176Ak
Awesome. Croatia and Bosnia are amazing and Slovenia is probably the prettiest country we've ever visited. You'll have an amazing time. If you want any info about parkups are anything in the videos then please do ask. :-)
Hi, Enjoyed the vlog, just watched 2 & 3. We've just purchased a Peugeot Boxer to do exactly the same thing! Just wondering which route you took and would you recommend it? PS love the shower Idea I caught in your Van Tour video.
Hi Gordon. Glad you enjoyed the vids. Van build… exciting times! We went from Calais down to the Dordogne and across the Pyrenees into Pedra Forca area. It’s a really nice drive. We did toll free to enjoy the landscape better. It’s a really nice drive.

I have my Contigo by my side as i watch this, & I already have a cycle water-bottle holder. Now, if I can only find 15 seconds in order to make the install installation ……
Hi. Alan and Caz. THANK YOU for sharing last leg of WAW trip. Especially Tarbert car ferry. I lived in Tarbert as a child. My Dad was local bank manager! I had an idyllic childhood there. Walks beside the Shannon Estuary. Blackberry picking. Swimming at Banna strand. Picnics in fields where kind farmer's wife gave us hot water for our tea. Fond memories! ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for all the comments across the whole series. You’re so lucky to have grown up in such a beautiful country.
Great video guys and wow wow getting the basking shark on the drone footage was awesome well done great filming, loving your tips on Ireland hoping to head there next year
Thanks guys. Yeh we dropped super lucky. We were literally just driving along the cliff top and spotted it. You’ll have an amazing time there, it’s a beautiful country.
Hi. Either would be a great option for off road or road. We took road bikes and did the Vrsic Pass through the valley. It’s a great ride which you could do on any bike 👍🚵♀️
