It is an amazing place. Cathedral quarry entrance was used in snow white and the huntsman. The spray paint inside the cave is used to measure movement. It used to be open to camp in in the past. The fence they put up but it had movement and falling rocks.
Those caves looked awesome - had no idea places like that were in the uk either! And those drone shots of hardknott pass were awesome 😍 would love to go there but not sure stan the van would get up there! 🚐🙈
What a beautiful walk, was it a steep climb to Cathedral Craig? It looked amazing. I wondered if you were going to do Hardknott, that is one steep climb. Thanks guys 👍🐸
Hi Simon. No Cathedral is pretty flat which makes it a nice little hike. Hardknott on the other hand is a big climb. We’ve never walked up it but I’ve cycled over it a few times. It’s a big climb up with 30% gradients on the corner near the top 😯⛰️
