Omg yes I had that the other day on oasis gardens on the left flank. My whole team decided to squeeze through there with my Cassidy going right. Had to prop jump over onto the left of point to valkyrie contest the point otherwise we weren't winning xD
youre strong cause i wouldve said something in post match after you killed that annoying sombra, sombra mains and their obsession with mercy"s need to be studied fr fr
@@sadlad3116 As someone who mains both Sombra and Mercy I agree lol. Whenever I’m Mercy the enemy Sombra is on my ass and usually I can out maneuver her since I know what she’s gonna do. But if my team isn’t helpful then it doesn’t matter. When I’m Sombra, I’ll really only target the Mercy when she goes for rez or at certain moments. I don’t go out of my way to spawn camp lol. But if she does kill me, I gotta get my lick back so there’s that. 😂
Had a 0 death with me and kiriko i lover her so much team died so she signals so i know where she is to ga before i died. I slingshot away and waited for her to tp to me and repeat while keeping us up. She even kept me alive during grav alt. Rarely have fun games been on a insane lossing streak but that game made me feel better plus got the gold weapon for pink mercy and other mercy skins
Almost without fail, once you start to beam a Pharah, they think they have Mercy armor the rest of the game with zero idea how and when to regroup when people after people die.
Some tips for when you notice you are 'healbotting' It's a lot easier to not healbot when you are in a group with a support you trust. You are in group with Kiriko so I assume you know their playstyle. If Kiriko's playstyle is to be aggressive then being a healbot isn't the worst since you are letting her do damage and she trusts you to heal the team. However, if Kiriko has a more heal-focused playstyle. do your best to prioritize the DPS and Kiriko and not the tank unless its absolutely necessary. If you are playing with a random support or someone you do not know very well, give them the benefit of doubt to heal unless they are playing something like Zen or Lucio. If you notice your team has not enough healing you can start healing more until you find a balance. Some games will just be this way, it's simply the state of the game and Mercy. There's so much damage and so little healing that sometimes you have to healbot. Something I find a lot of Mercy players struggle with is knowing when to let someone die. Sometimes it's worth it to let your tank die faster and prioritize damage boosting your DPS for picks and then rezzing your tank later instead of using your Mercy heal beam to keep them alive for 3-5 seconds longer before they die anyway and your other teammates die/can't make picks in the time you spend healing your tank. This play obviously won't always work but use your own judgement. Mercy has the ability to bring an ally back which other supports don't, make use of it. Try your best not to heal the same person your other support is healing. I call this 'stepping on your other supports toes' especially if it's Ana, Baptiste, Moira or Kiriko. With both supports focused on the same target it means not only is the rest of your team without healing, but you are taking ult charge from your second support. Having more healing at the end of the game than your second support isn't always a bad thing, especially if it means you won the game. Some games you are steamrolling the enemy so hard and your Baptiste or Moira has the same damage as your DPS but little healing. That doesn't mean you played it wrong. Know you don't need to heal every chip of damage your allies take, especially with AoE supports like Lucio, Baptiste and Moira. Don't be afraid of going on flanks or taking off angles with your DPS as long as you have escape routes in mind. If you have to be afraid your entire team will die with you not there it may be a telltale sign that Mercy isn't working and if you aren't a one trick might be a good indication to swap. These are general tips, not necessarily player specific except for the first ones. Hope this helps.
