I'm totally with Christine, it was an absolute blast to watch and listen. Thanks for letting us hang out with you while you learn the game and keep us well entertained at the same time. I'm learning the game through your eyes, and I'm amazed at how quickly you pick it up, even if it feels slow to you. I think your Factorio experience is helping you a lot here. Fumbling with building directions and controls is completely normal while you're learning, so don’t stress about it! Just a small note: In my opinion, there were quite a few spoilers shared by chat. It might be a good idea to remind everyone to keep it spoiler-free from time to time. Your new pet is absolutely adorable! Please give DoggoWithALongName a big hug from me and some extra cuddles!
Arg! The stream went down about 30 minutes in, but came up and RU-vid seems to have axed the first half hour and the live commentary! 😢 Most of what you're missing is just a tour of the base from the prior episode! 😊
I'm pretty sure that anyone tuning in to watch a factory building game expects factory building, trial and error, MATH and figuring things out, etc. Your frustration is expected. The fact that you're brand new at the game and you're learning on stream with people watching is brave! Don't be so hard on yourself. 🤨 Your commentary and humor are entertaining enough to make up for any parts that you may feel are tedious for the viewer (although there are none that are). I really DID enjoy this stream a lot and can't wait for more. 🙂
Thank you for this. I don't devote a second thought to floundering on my own. Of course I don't know how to do the thing I've never seen before. But when I'm known solely for be pretty good at a particular thing that I understand all the workings of and then suddenly I'm up on a stage, FLOUNDERING, in front of an AUDIENCE, it's a whole different ball game. Not my bestestest stream, but I'm glad it was still enjoyable. In any event, it's clear to me what I need to work on. Thanks again.
Its really fun seeing the new player experience again. The realisation that building on foundations is much better was pretty funny to watch. Glad youre enjoying it, if you arent dreaming about it yet then i would say just give it time...

Thanks! Yup, it's the key/button hints in the lower right corner: when your hands are empty this disappear, UNLESS something hears you, in which case they pop back up. I think if you're holding something they're always there but most of the time when I'm exploring/traveling I've got empty hands
I had three long phone calls in a row starting around the elder fight, so I had to go watch/ listen to that again. I was so distracted, but I remember thinking, "open your inventory so i can see if you have your portal mats" i should have typed it. 😢 Fortunately, it wasn't so far and turned out ok. Great run, GREAT fun, and I agree with Cookie. Ignore that chat. All of us will stick with you until the end.

Eh, I'm pretty comfy with early game and I usually don't have the mats to make early capes worthwhile, and they don't do enough to justify an inventory slot, for me personally

Ha! Im new to this game and I didn’t know the corpse run gave you an extra 150. That’s pretty cool. I thought I was seeing things. Clearly a lot of things went over my head in this video. All the strategic deaths were confusing to me. I enjoyed the few hours I’ve watched so far.
Why would someone watch a video of a game before buying it? You're spoiling the magic of playing a game for the first time. Just read some spoiler free reviews, and watch videos after is what I do.

I told you about the axe raft defense :P I don't remember hitting the boat much, should be avoidable I discovered it while being axe gamer not long after the game launched. Kept being chased by trolls on a raft, that is harder to defend 🤣
100% chance I'm going Root Harnesk so I'd rather spend my troll hide upgrading hat and pants than making a tunic I know I'm gonna throw away in an hour or two

@@aroyals339 royals! Yup, here for the foreseeable future. Have a discord where you can get noti's of just streams of you're into that. I don't rule out a return to twitch once they up their quality game a little and/or I get better hardware. Good to see ya!
@@masisarsu with current strategies, a stellar performance, and bonkers luck I could maybe see 10.5 hours? I don't really count on that happening as it's difficult to maintain both luck and skill for the entire affair. Hopefully some new strats get unearthed!
