You'll be good as long as you put some grease back in on the bar inside of the shaft, The actual clippers are sealed pretty well

Why would you want to do that?

Oil the blades and grease the gear box. the gear box is on the bottom it should be a hex screw. sthil makes a grease tube that thread directly into that threaded hole. just need a little squeeze.

Just make sure your oil is real good afterwards.

Great video man. I was wondering, does the other bearing have a seal on it too? I'm wondering because I have a job coming up where I have to weld the shaft housing that cracked, and it's leaking oil out of it. Now I'm wondering if the oil is coming from the gearbox, or from the chains and sprockets.
