It's not Darryl, it's his twin, Damien. It's easily confused; when Shortland street does twins it's usually just the same actor with a different hair do or glasses to differentiate. And it helps that Darryl is dead at this point.

Shortland Street:The major change from private accident and emergency clinic(Shortland Street Accident And Emergency Clinic) to public hospital(Shortland Street hospital as it's now known as today still. I'll miss the old private clinic it once was. But being a public hospital now is much better and it's also bigger and much more room.

the big 1980s white building with dark glass windows. An icon of the area, wont say where but others will know what Im talking about, still there till this day, not sure but I think the shw gloss was filmed there too which is another NZ show

I loved the ads. The channel two promos. Bic runga and future Tru bliss singers. Serotonin boost for sure. They stopped making them after 2014. It's a good run though.
