I am looking at an 05 extended cab 4x4. Its the cleabest one owner z71 i ever seen for 19 years old. 282k. It drives and shifts perfect. Probsbly already had transmission and engine swap but. Mechanically and cosmetically excellent. For 7 grabd i can take it home. Never been up north only florida. Shoukd i buy ?
Love these trucks would love to own a 2005 Chevy Silverado crew cab one of these days hopefully soon or a suburban of that equivalent year. These vehicles are amazing I’m shooting for the 5.3 L V8
Thanks for the video! There is a 99' 2500 for sale that I am considering grabbing. It has a two year old 5.7L engine in it so that is also a perk. At $3000 I am wondering if that is worth spending the money on. I know next to nothing about these older trucks so peoples input is welcome. Seems like everything runs well and nothing is out of the ordinary at face value.
I have a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado z71 . I bought it in 2005 with 7,000 miles on it. It now has 98,000 miles on it. I love only 6 minutes from work. Still looks new and rides perfect.
I still don't know where the spark plugs are. Why don't you actually show u taking out a spark plug. And also tell me which spark plug I would change if I have a cylinder 1 missfire
These were very solid trucks. I've been told that the transmission is a weak point, but you would never know that by mine. It's got 370k on it and doing good still. Doesn't sound too weak to me, but I've never towed anything with it either. It had a 5th wheel hitch when I bought it and was told it was used on a farm hauling hay around. It might be true because I bought it when it was 11 years old and it only had 56k miles on it. It's been the best vehicle i've ever owned and second place isn't close.
Just got my trx, how do you get the back end around? Do you have the 2 wheel drive mod? I want to do mess around but can’t risk flipping it because it costs too much.
I want to go 15x10 and 15x8 on my 1968 impala What tire size will be best I was thinking back 275/60 And front 235/60 Or 265/60 back // front 225/60 Wheels are rally wheels 15x10 5”BS / offset 12mm 15x8 4/1-2 BS / offset 0mm
I have owned 3 trxs and yes they are fast but I could never run that close to a track hawk stock. That Trx has been tuned I promise but either way I love those Hellcat SC engines
We have a 2019 Trailhawk and we love it so much. Ours just turned over 30,000. Miles and it is very clean. No we have driven on the highway and it’s a smooth ride. Because we bought it used we complained about the tires being too worn on certain parts. The windshield had a small chip on it so we had it replaced and the dealer changed our tires and balanced them out. They did find a small leak in the air conditioner so they took it apart and found the leak and changed it out and it gets so cold we have to turn it down. We love it!!! 😍
