Quick video of tazer update from z automotive with a new feature that allows you to have put a Security code to operate your vehicle. like share and subscribe link below for products. www.zautomotiv...
So if Z Automotive can come up with something like this while the tazer is plugged in. Why has the manufacturer not developed something to disable the pcm when a “ security code “ is entered through the u connect system? The technology is there, the code is there and they have engineers capable of disabling the pcm beyond just starting up the instrument cluster. ( meaning the car will not fire at all ) Z Automotive really needs to get with the engineers at Dodge. They clearly have a grasp on it vs Dodge having a grip on the bare minimum.
I wonder if Ram will EVER deliver on their promise to ACTUALLY help with this problem?! Additionally, I wonder if having the Tazer upgrade and a Rayelco would be overkill, when I get my 2023/2024 next year? What do you think? Thanks for the video.
I think both will b fine Brian. Tazer has fun stuff like 2wd mode abd other feathers as well as the security pin feature. Glad you enjoyed!!! Stay tuned for more upgrades
Yes I think both be fine never have to much especially on srt powered vehicles. I think dodge is not going to do anything on these platforms maybe next one they will. Thanks for liking the video.
Nice stuff! Couple questions though. So does carjacking mode just lock up car no matter the speed when he is driving away? What if he has floored it and doing 90 mph when that timer expires? Won't that simply destroy the transmission, etc.? Second - can this be disabled for service visits, etc? Third - even though car is locked when running, it could still be put into neutral and then towed away, correct?
@@zachwebb5659 with the way it locked the abs up I doubt it. But stay tuned on sat video I will be showcasing a piece to help with the Manuel override as well
It stay locked in cause it locks the e brake. But I have another video for the neutral latch company call destroyer 1320 makes block plates. Have a video on my page showing the install.
@@realslow3453 yes it will lock the vehicle up. Also z automotive has a metal cover they have for sell, that covers it up. I have video on page that shows the install and has the link to there page.
