Hello and welcome to Cardigan Bay Fishing Adventures, my name is David Barber. We Fish Cardigan Bay, and St Georges, channel and also the Celtic deeps off the West Coast of Wales. We will target all species on this adventure, from small fish to big, we will also be targeting sharks. Fishing will be from the boats and as the winter draws in we will hit the shores with beach gear and target everything especially codling. I also do rig and baiting up tutorials, boat building and outboard engine work and on top of all that there is catch and cooks. and more. I Hope you enjoy watching the channel. Thanks Dave
@C3BFA all good mate, thanks. Still fishing and actually managed to pit a video out a couple of weeks ago. Saw you in Swansea when you were doing your day course too. Was passing in the car so couldn't stop. Take care mate. Hope all going well with Tim.
Dude, this video was spot on! Clearly described as you went - not too fast not too slow. Seriously, awesome video. My reel wasn’t working correctly and after watching this, it’s working as good as new. Nice work, thank you!
@@aj-li4ly thank you for your comment. It's comments like yours that keep me going making videos in really appreciate it thank you I'm really glad your reel is now sorted that's perfect. Thanks Dave
Hi mate I've followed this tutorial when I've come to run it there seems to be more water coming out around the lower unit than I've noticed before like out from one of the 4 nuts you take off to remove the lower unit and occasionally from the gap just above the the lower unit. Is this normal and I've just not noticed it before ?
@@joshchapman3237 it will be fine. But u may find the pipe hasn't seated correctly in the rubber grommet. If it's still pumping OK it will get plenty of cooling

Without any doubt, this is one of the best comprehensive tutorials I have seen on the tube. I'm just about to do the first full service on my suzuki 60 outboard and you have covered every aspect in detail and clarity. Thanks very much from Northern Ireland, and a new sub👍
@@therattyfire5468 Thank you I'm glad you found it helpful ans informative. If you get stuck drop a comment on here I will do my best to help I do catch most comments within the hour. Thanks for the sub I really appreciate it. Thanks Dave
You never know. My mates boat is in Cardigan a merry fisher called phoebe Jake. Yes they are but it had the open side door on for microphones so it's not water proof
If you go on. My play lists they are all there this was next but not part two ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o2k5enEY7Jg.htmlsi=l5X1L5KXQUNEP36m
@@bugoutnow no worries glad I can help hope you enjoy your the series. The last part which I believe is part 10 is where the boats at now. It's not finished yet
Tried using a teaser a few years back with sub surface lures and had a few catches . Forgot all about using them again this year and after watching this tried last night [9th July] using a small plastic white sand eel [1" long] in front of a Patchinko. 3 bass in 3 casts . Been having a lot of blanks lately but they were really nailing the small eel teaser - also, catching a lot of bass on silver mackeral traces - they seem to be only after the smaller bait fish in my area [Cardigan]
That's brilliant celt. The bass seem more interested in my teaser too. In this video it was gar fish obviously but a suggestion from a follower was the gar fish went for the teaser ans got foul hooked on the treble behind I think that is very possible. I'm only 20 mins down the coast from you I am Aberaeron. Thanks Dave
You had a lot of shake when you walked at the beginning was your stabilization setting off. Chest cams can be tricky they can be jarring to watch if moving around to much but all in all good video. Garfish fillet is great in rough seas for bass. I had 2 x 8lb bass on it years ago in stormy weather off the beach.
No it was on its due to the low light it was a lot darker than the camera looked troy when you have low light the stability won't work the same unfortunately. My first time using a chest cam I need to do more with it. This one will be used for bait see what we get on it one day
@@C3BFA all good mate , waiting for it to stop raining and the wind to drop so I can go out fishing, far too much of a fine weather angler to go out in 💩 weather 😂😂
Very nice morning, had a small 7 inch bass a couple of days ago off the beach at Aberystwyth on Mackerel rig using small eels, was not expecting it at all. Masses of weed about this afternoon gave up on bottom rig as line was being covered in less than 3 minutes, and then took 5 to clean off. Hopefully weed will disappear over the next couple of days.
@@DelDredd ye I thought it might be weeded up. This video was our last nice day before the blows came in. We have a settled week coming by looks of it it's no where near as bad quite a few off shore winds so will help it clear up ans be good for the bass again hopefully
Nice vid. Beautiful evening. Slow it down with the retrieve and stop completely several times on each retrieve. I find too much wake with surface lures spooks the bass when it’s really calm. Keep up the good work, looking forward to the next one👍
@oaken8 no need to say sorry its OK was just letting you know. It does face west technically. But I was facing east to get the shot on camera 😂😂 so I'm sorry
@@Ryandawson018 I do depending on situation this day I think they was full up and not committing properly I tried fast and slow ans very slow also try frequently pausing ans it made no difference they was just swirling at it messing about the day after we had 20 in under an hour but didn't take the cameras 😭😭😭😭
@@c.ifishingguernsey thanks Ci it's the new dji one it was almost £400 with everything I bought but the rode is better of you don't want to edit the audio
Brilliant watch good to see you back I've went through alot myself over the last few months lost sister only 43 on valentines day just everything went wrong at the same time ⏲️ hard but nice to see you on the boat 🚢 😊
Hello Robbie, I'm really sorry to hear that. My issue are different but not bad if that makes sense. My wife has moved to Cardiff for uni I'm home alone with three kids working 5 nights a week and then doing two days on the charter boat I have to cook, clean do laundry do food shops do school runs etc my time is all taken so it's very hard to get out and make videos and then edit them aswel. I really do miss being able to just go when the conditions allow. But I July there's no more school. Runs as my youngest goes to high school so that frees up a lot of time. I'm coming back slowly and one day I will be back like. I was
