Love the mack 🥰 i always watched convoy when i was a kid, i was never really a fan of smoky and the bandit Does it sound like the movie truck? Because the movie truck had a few distinct sounds, the horns and exhaust note seemed fairly unique, unless the sounds were dubbed in from a different truck
I saw this at the Transport Festival, on Bodafon Fields, Craig Y Don, near Llandudno. In 2023. They had a number of American trucks there, and do every year. I hope that it will be back again.

Unfortunately I was never smart enough to get my HGV license but I love truck. Volvo's are another level. Just the way they look and sound. Would love to be able to drive them.
750HP is welcome upgrade since truck industry was stuck at arround 500HP for very long time. I just hope that other truck manufacturers will follow and push the bar even further.
There's a video on RU-vid of the snowman,the rubber duck ,BJ & the bear ,duel truck ,& some other famous truck side by side at some truck show in the states.Also some German guy already had done a rubber duck replica almost 20 years ago.
Overrated motor, fleet spec probably doesn’t even come with adaptive cruise as standard as they’ve done over the years so it’s beaten by DAF, even driver comfort is no good for taller people. Get a Scania review done, proper truck!
So right ,not any better than the older version ,I would like to see the big guy try to get a night's sleep in it ,the myth that Volvo gives u more, more seat,Not on the one I have,more space not on the one I have, more plugs to boil your kettle ,not on the one I have,they burn out within weeks, CD player not on the one I have, cab insulation not on the one I have it's extra, bed control panel unworkable, draughts at both ends of the bed I have that, no power in the cab to support a inverter for microwave I have that, no nothing that's what I have thanks Volvo,oh and no more Volvos ,8 new trucks no more Volvo ,one thing u do know is how to piss off drivers,and the MD at Volvo United Kingdom doesn't talk to drivers 🤬
Drove a fh globetrotter for 6 years on full week tramping,and at 6ft 3in never had h problem sitting standing up or sleeping (loads of room!!) Scania vastly over rated!!!!!!!!!! Fact!?
I wonder west the usual fleet spec will be like, most drivers won’t get a flagship motor with all the bells and whistles. Does it come with adaptive cruise as standard?
