Hey fella, yeah it's some time. Had a few things to get done but happy to be back. The theatre shows are going well, a new run coming in a few months. Be nice to one day meet up. Hope you are well mate
Is so funny how manny reviews about ignorant people or " photographers " saying this lence is crap and then compare to a 3000 lense lol. This guy here do Instead of making a video in his room , he goes out and puts all of other ignorants "photographers " down in the garbage. What an amazing work u done here my friend not only u got great shots and quality but u have so much fun with this review 😊
That's so nice, I'm pleased you liked the photos. I get a lot of joy going out and shooting and it pays off when I learn when someone enjoys what I make. Thank you for watching
Well I've just done the 11th like. I wish you and phoenix all the best. You are a great guy and I want you to go far. Still hoping to meet up for a photography walk one day.
Well Done on Turning a Negative into a creative Positive..Great message to all to Keep on doing what you love, after all were our own worst critics.!! Nice Work Nathan..😊👌
Great video and thoughts you shared. You would be great to have this conversation with, I have been privileged to be in a stage not too worried about bills, and calibrating settings to fulfillment.
I’ve just bought an old 600D and picked this lens up for £70 on eBay. And this video has taught me more about photography than any other RU-vid video. Thank you. All the bad press about this lens really is stupid people who don’t understand physics. My big take out is shutter speed, hold it steady.
You always have a mobile phone with you and it's easy to take a photo. Especially when it comes to a good model, then the photos it takes are quite good! A photographic camera, you don't always have it with you and it will simply end up in the drawer waiting for the moments when you go on a trip and if you remember you will take it with you and take photos. Besides, the photos we take, most of them, we upload to social media, where our friends will see them on their mobile phones. So, there won't be that difference that exists when you see the photos enlarged and on big screens. Apart from that, I have seen photos on a large screen that I have taken with my cell phone and they are fine. I don't see the point of paying 800 euros to buy a camera that I won't have with me every day and that if I remember it will come out of the drawer during one of my trips.
This is a fair point for most people and I also take many photos with my phone, but, myself being a photographer I use a photographic camera 4/5 times a week. And like I mentioned at the end, if you book a photographer for your party or event and they come with just a phone! Would you fill ripped off?
@@benhammedia9940 For people whose profession or hobby is photography, I understand what you are saying and I agree. For the person who simply wants to take good photos wherever they are, easily and quickly, the solution is a good mobile phone.
I am extremely lucky, as I left school with no idea where I wanted to go. So left college halfway through because I was offered a full time sales job in a photography retailer. I pursued this and aimed to be the best I could be, and make as many friends as I could - 10 years on I’m the Head of Retail and responsible for over 100 employees, in a company I’m extremely happy with and role I never thought I’d achieve. I still do photography on the side - but it’s purely a hobby now as my photography wasn’t good enough to make a career out of, but I’m aiming for the Director role and won’t stop until I’m there. I guess I’m rambling too - but my point of commenting this was because if anyone’s reading and doesn’t know ‘what they want to do’ - just make friends, enjoy the ride, try your best, and ride the wave. The rest will come, I promise. Good video, good photos, thanks for the grounded view and I hope your channel grows so you can go to Portugal whenever you want!
Hey, thank you for this comment. This is so awesome and just like I said about finding a passion in a career that you didn't expect, I almost pack in on the acting and become a mixologist. I'm really pleased for you and hope you get to where you are heading. All the best 🤘
Wonderful video! I'm confused between this lens and the Sigma 105mm f/2.8 for my 250d. Aiming for pics rather than vids, sreet photography exactly like your shots in here, but also close up items like cups of coffee, plants etc... and portraits. Which would work more for all?
Thank you, I guess my best answer is that it's what you like best. I don't use this lens often but it's great for grabbing long shorts. If you are looking for different focal length you would be better off adding to your kit but my go to lens is 50m
Thanks so much for coming along mate! Cracking video and some great shots too. Next one is on the 9th March if you want to come along. It’s going to be earlier in the day so we won’t be plunged into darkness from the get go haha
