Just now seeing this after all this time. Great looking boat with nice finish details! I built mine pretty stock years ago and ran it once on the water in 2014. After 7 years of storage, I finally got it out, "tuned it" up, and ran it again recently at a local model boat event at a park pond. It still worked great and was a hit with the oldtimers there! I'm now motivated to take it out and run it more often. I have another recent short video of it running on my channel.
The passive is out of phase because the test tone is higher than its tuning freq. Hot glue sone washers or a few pennys on the back of the radiator & try again. Then sweep up freq until the PR is in phase with the Active drivers. This will be the "tuning" frequency
@@gizmo3209 i think you are right cause what pushes and makes the the passive radiator react is after all what the woofers displace when they are moving inwards
Pretty sure their admiring the seamanship of the Foss Capitan and his crew for being able to make up and secure the lines so quickly. As the line comes tight and is ringed dry of water... 50,000.... Maybe 300,000 pounds of line pressure? Who knows. This video is epic.
