This was not pre-season but a practice. No new young guy coming up unless they get rid of Velano and Holl. Young guys need to bulk up a little, but need the ice time they can get in GR. LGRW🏒
How can you clean it up when Yzerman has the same people advising him on draft picks and player personnel as Holland did: Draper, Cleary, and Hakan Andersson.
They're a lazy team because there's no accountability. Lanlonde ain't the guy to light some butts on fire. Not so sure about Yzerman either. Does the Yzerplan really take 15 years? Geez were on in year 5.

@@justinhenderson4901 in reality you are probably right. I would be surprised if they put him in the 2nd, but he has over the pre-season games been better than Compher so for sure he is making the case.
What is your take on “the roster”. I’ve watched every preseason minus Sabers. I love the youth mazur Kasper Danielson. All been pretty impressive but controversy maybe the player that has stood out to me every game I seen him play is Watson. In my observations he’s out played every forward trying to make the team. He’s faster good penalty kill good puck chase hitting. I’m gonna be disappointed if he doesn’t make the team. Just from pre season he has stood out every game to me. I think danielson and mazur need another year danielson needs to get a bit more stronger as usual per his age. Kasper could potentially replace copp or veleno from what I’ve seen from him. And defense…. 🤷♂️. No one has stood out of the rookie hopefuls and Holl looks what ever nhl talent he had he doesn’t seem to have it anymore. Goaltending so hard to tell Talbot looked decent Lyon looked decent Husso looks well husso. What do you guys think. I believe from what I seen Kasper and Watson look to me to have earned their spots on the roster. What is your thoughts?
@@GeezIDK Rasmussen is 6’6. Seider is 6’4. Chiarot is 6’3. Fischer as well. That’s 4 guys. Whose spot do you want him to take?? We need young guys on this squad.
Move one of Lyon or Husson and waive Holl. That opens the door for the Danielson and Kaspar. At least one of Kaspar, Danielson or Mazur needs to come up this year or your slowing development down. Highly doubt you want 3 rookie forwards coming up the same year which is what you'll be facing next year.
Husso/ Lyon or Husso/ Talbot .... they need to do the boston thing and go every other game all season. Husso will stay healthy and so will Lyon as long as they dont over play these guys.
It is not a good sign if our prospects are kicking the door down but can’t walk over the door on the floor, yzerman has preached that he will make room for our prospects if they are “ready”, that has yet to be seen, yzerman is taking the approach of “depth” to a higher degree of blocking our young guys due to relying on injuries to veterans to give them a chance to play meaningful minutes. If yzerman does not waive Justin holl or Alex Lyon to make room for at least one young top prospect forward, I’m not sure I can agree that it is actually a good problem to have when it’s creating a bigger problem, not winning now!! Like what are we waiting for, if our young prospects, (especially Danielson and Kasper) can help us win now, then what are doing? Besides doing ourselves an injustice with not letting them play. Why you ask? is it because of Lalonde not telling yzerman that they are ready. Not trusting your own prospect development, which needs to happen IN THE NHL. I’ve said what I said, I love this team but the approach to winning and holding off on giving the young guys a chance while continuously giving veterans more leach instead of letting the kids play is not working and hasn’t yet, I want the kids to play now, look what the tigers did, they sold off all their expiring veteran contracts and got younger and BETTER, yzerman, please take a note out of Scott Harris’ book and trust your goddamn prospects. WHICH IS RANKED #1 IN THE NHL BTW EVEN AFTER RAY AND SEIDER HAVE GRADUATED!!!
