So do you have to sit at a charging station that is miles and miles from your house and sleep in your car til its done? This is a bit crazy. lol. I hope it takes maybe 2 hours at most for like a full charge. And whats the pricing like? This video did nothing to help me understand pricing or how long it would take.....what a waste of time that was.

Eres bastante ridicula, Evgo es la estafa más grande que existe, por favor no dañen su Tesla con esos cargadores, Tesla tiene millones de cargadores especiales para sus autos. Pero si quieres perjudicar a alguien llévalo a cargar en un Evgo cargadores, les harás tener millones de pesadillas
There is no standardization of apps to locate Charge Stations. No GPS systems I've seen so far, esp Garmin offer an app that displays EV stations. I don't want to have to load 20 apps to find stations, my life is too short. Also, any charging setup should have green paint striping applied to the driveway of the location offering charging, so that the stripe continues to the ACTUAL location of the charger(s), esp in Schools, Parks, Business Complexes. This would make it much easier to charge. ALSO, VERY IMPORTANT: we must offer Standardization of connectors and power for previous (NOT OLDER!) vehicles like mine which are plug in hybrids. All gas stations, Parks, Mini Malls, etc. should offer charging.
EVGO management this question is for you. Have you ever gone to a restaurant and experienced bad service? How likely are you to give them a second chance? How likely are you to never return after you experience bad service again? I ask this question as I’ve been driving EV’s for 7 years now. And I consistently get bad service from EVGO. To be honest 75% of the time service is pathetic. I’m retired and Travel extensively and that’s my experience with EVGO. Just my opinion on my experience over those 7 years. EA grade B+, CP A-, Shell Recharge B+, EVGO D+.
So I have a car with an 800V platform that can take the full output of a 350kW station. But the stations seldom deliver what their rating, even if my car is pre-conditioned, and at a 20% SOC.. Why does EVgo throttle back the stations so often?
The major problem is that you have no maintenance plan, How I know this is that your rep told me you ordered parts after the failure. You should know what is going to fail and stock the parts. In other words, you appear to have no R&M plan for a critically important function. The result is broken chargers all over the place. I ended up driving all over Virginia Beach looking for a working charger and when I did find one, I always had to call EVGO to get it started even though I have autostart, Your growing pains should teach you something. I happen to be a retired R&M engineer, so your problems are obvious to me.
Bolt EUV owner here: Please extend a courtesy to other EV drivers and select the lower output DC Fast Charging unit when you're using EVgo. Many EVgo stations have a choice of 100 kW (short) or 350 kW (tall) units, but the Bolt will not charge any faster on the 350 unit because the maximum speed the car can accept is 55 kW. Also I'd highly recommend enrolling in Autocharge+ right away. It is by far the easiest and most reliable way to activate your session.
How do you like it so far? I've heard it's great... I'm just worried if something goes wrong, guess it'll have to be at a Chevy service place. Also, I have a 200 amp electrical panel, but would I need an electrician to install anything, or can I buy one of the faster chargers I see advertised on Amazon, etc ?

They have been down since early October of 2023, today is Feb 3, 2024!! Calls after call, nothing helps. Technicians show up embarrassed saying their leadership isn’t doing anything about this, saying this is why no one wants to work for EVGO with high turnover.
