as a berlin school composer myself, i'll provide a brief analysis which may hopefully be useful regarding the super good quality of the composition and the musicianship: it starts off rad as if it is "rubycon and phaedra: the ccmpact edition," and then turns into a cool as heck + lush combo of 70s and 80s electronic synth blastin' w/ gorgeous tones and cOntrast ;w; also, the chord progressions in combination w/ the lead sound at the end is a stellar bit. i would've even liked if the lead and the chord progression went on for even longer b/c of how rad it sounded. OwO awesome piece, d00d \m/ very impressive to see it was all powered by the dream of the little tangerine at the end :3
So very Tangerine Dream, I've been a fan from the early 1970s, Phaedra being my very first album. This track has all the vintage sounds and sequences from the boys. Absolutely amazing.
Amazing tribute to our pioneers and masters of berlin school and electronic music: Tangerine Dream Froese, Franke and Baumann forever ! Ah, listen to Magnum Opus - Sinestesia
Is this the dude whos working with Behringer to make a clone? If so, hows that coming along? They will sell like hit bread if behringer actually releases this model.
I see this vid for the first time and I am so impressed...!!! Great sound, great theam....great spirit...❤❤❤ RIP Edgar and ALL THE BEST WISHES FOR YOU...AND ALL TD MEMBERS AND LOVERS!!!
Fun facts: * The earliest Wave 2.0 units were marked as PPG Wavecomputer 360C. * The PPG 340 waveform generator in the 340/380 was used to generate the waveforms for the 360 and later systems.
yes, and the synthesizers that we see in the video are also his, and the man who plays in them is also him, and it is also him who composed the title to pay homage to Edgar Froese. Fortunately I don't want to bother with these music thieves... lol...
I know this is available now as software but I'm really hoping that Behringer do a clone, ideally with a choice of with keyboard or as a desktop, though it may have to be nearer to oberheim xpander size than e.g their model D due to number of controls. One of the most unique sounding instruments ever made that helped Oxygene & Equinox to be so successful.
This was my first album of Tangerine dream and enjoyed it very much. The first time I ever heard of Tangerine dream was on the radio and the album was called Zeit.
My respect. I've been looking for a sound for a long time, which I can't find in the Oberheim Matrix 12 software. Do you have time to find that sound "Res Keez" under number #35, if you can record a short clip and send it to me so I can hear . If possible, send me the setup and parameters of that sound. Thank you very much
Blooming heck! What the hell was that?? This sounds like some lost Tangerine Dream masterpiece from the the late 70's early 80's post Baumann, pre-Schmoelling, then just rediscovered. Brilliant!
Pioneer's of synthesized music others follow, first time I seen and heard TD was at Coventry cathedral playing ricochet Edgar froese, Klaus schulze and peter bauman and that was because Alan Freeman played them on his show I started listening more and I started listening to isao tomita who like TD pioneerd synthesized music albeit tomita played classical on a synth but hey give him a listen you will not be disappointed
Gdybyś właśnie teraz TY koncertował gdzieś na świecie, to wszyscy fani starego dobrego TD płakali by z wzruszenia. To jest jak podróż w czasie. Nie do opisania !
Free System Projekt simulates 1970s TD rather well, I think. So did the first two albums by Redshift. As well as albums by Air Sculpture and Radio Massacre International.
