The Stellar is a very nice high B wing. The wing communicates well, and in case of turbulent conditions, it reacts very calmly. It maintains its course in case of collapses. Additionally, the wing has good performance. If you have the chance to fly a demo, give it a try👍
Just got my first set of condom catheters. Haven’t used them yet, since my pod harness doesn’t have a hole to route the tube through my plan is to do it just how you have, just hang my foot out and let it rip.
@@annejanroeleveld very good advice! Thanks!! It’s amazing how much warmer you are in a pod harness. I’ve been at cloudbase, probably 45°F in shorts and was very comfortable in my pod.
Awesome flight! What are your impressions on Libra RS? Is it High Aspect ratio difficult to handle, is it too wobbly? Did you have some severe collapses? I am flying Agera RS for a couple of year nowand am very satisfied! Thinking of switching to Libra...
Hi Miki, thanks for your response. I've flown about 50 hours on the Libra RS. It's a very nice, stable wing that launches very easily. I've flown the Agera RS before, but I often experienced unexpected collapses. With the Libra RS, I've had a few small collapses but none significant. The aspect ratio is indeed quite high for a C wing. The wing does feel a bit more wobbly compared to the Agera RS, but thanks to the Rast system, it remains stable. I would recommend doing a few test flights with the Libra RS to see how you like it. As an alternative, you could also try the new Stellar RS.
@@annejanroeleveld thanks for a quick and detailed answer, it means a lot, since there are not much reviews of Libra out there! I'll check the Stellar Rs too
@@annejanroeleveld What Size wing and where in the weight range are you Anne? I'm flying the large at the moment, but lost some weight so I am flying it around 110 KG in 105-120. I thnk I am finding it rather talkative, great in light lift, needs a bit more work in the stronger stuff, Which is fine when flying an impress 4, but find it a bit more tiring on a lightness 3 ballasting up to the same weight. I tried it at the very bottom with the lightness around 107 and wasn't too keen on it obviously, felt I lost a lot of its precise handling at that weight. Considering dropping a size down.
Thanks! The XC handles come standard on the risers of the Libra. You might be able to inquire with Swing about ordering them separately, but I'm not sure if that's possible.
Thanks for the tip. I made this video last year without music. Hope you can enjoy that one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NZfJE_K1Cq4.html
Wonderful 😍. Really makes me excited for spring. (One tip, from someone who's wrecked multiple brake lines: since you have rings instead of pulleys, pull down a little straighter instead of out/back.)
I can confidently say that this is the most inspiring documentary I have ever seen. There are too many of us who give up on our dreams without giving them a chance. Seeing how committed Anne Jan was to making her dream come true despite a lot of work is incredible and very motivating. Thank you for bringing us this beautiful film :)
